This is personally one of my best MB stories so far. And yet, it was far from perfect. Like every other MB project of mine, it was thrown together hastily, and by the time I realized all my major flaws, it was far too late to change them.
So now comes the question...to rewrite this one, or make a sequel?
Sequel won out (I'm not really ready to CONpletely redo the story I just finished ), and work has started. I'll be starting a topic soon, and I will be taking character requests. If you were already mentioned in this last story (Sorry Sogel, Boomer and LegoAgentFigure), you'll be illegible to be added. Essa, I've got plans later for you, so similarly, you won't be in this one.
Thank you to all my readers, this was quite the journey. The 192 pages of this topic aren't all full of story parts, and that's the way I like it. Reader reactions fuel me on. You guys were all so supportive and enthuisiastic, even when I had already lost my initial drive.
The sequel will CONtinue off this version with few if any changes. It will only be loosely CONnected, though. So, uh, let me know if you'd like to be in the cast of the next.
Brick it, Con. This is awesome. I'm so happy you finished this story!! ^.^ --not because it's over, no, I mean how you finished something you set your mind to create and to present it to us. This is definitely a favorite of mine, one of the greatest stories I've read on the Eternals or the MBs, and that's saying something. Every part was so fun to read! The plot and characters were so full of wit and charm and there were plenty of awesome lines to laugh out loud at -- yet at the same time, there were those underlying themes adding depth to the story, and those less lighthearted, earnest moments that added an element of value and down-to-earth emotion to the moment. HUGE congratulations for finishing Basics (A Gamers Story)! I'm really looking forward to whatever you have in store for us next.
Never let it be said that I don't finish what I began.

HOORAY, YOU FINISHED IT!! But now it's over. . . This was a fantabulous story! I wish I could have been here to cheer along for the whole thing, but at least I made it for the end.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for wading through all those pages to read this thing. I honestly didn't expect anybody to join this late in the game!

There were so many flaws though. Thank you!
Atta boy.
The flaws give it. . . personality. You're welcome!

You are most welcome, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Well, to be honest most of the time I spend on here is looking for new stories to read, so when I saw this one with so many pages I was like, Bring it on.
