Sometimes I wish I had a touch, I could get so much done at 2 in the morning. Yeah, that probably should have happened.
I basically get on LMBE, watch YouTube, check some webcomics, and then do my homework that’s due in 3 hours. I’m probably only alive because of coffee.
Probably.
See, that sounds so handy. I tried some of that stuff...it's okay if you dump six extra sugar packages in it.

Me. XD My mom drinks it only black and we are quite wary of each other in these areas. XD
NaNoWriMo stands for "National Novel Writing Month" and it's kind of a big thing. People all across the US at least (maybe the world, I dunno), speed-write during November. Some published authors have put together almost entire books in a month through this. I've done it twice before. I'm aiming a bit lower than normal this year due to classes and all.
You basically start tracking your word count on whatever project you decide to do on November 1st, and then kind of keep track of how close you are to your goal, how many words per day you need to be writing, that sort of thing.
It's not so much of a contest as just challenging yourself to stop procastinating and write your projects. If you do make your writing goal, then there are prizes (mostly free one-month subscriptions to stuff and the likes ) but it's mostly about just making writing your priority for a month. You can compete against other people too.
Ooh, that sounds fun! I'll definitely participate next year (I'd do it this year, but it's evident that I need more practice ), along with another event in October. Hey, thank you for the details! I'll most definitely enter it!
