Okay, so in a couple days, NaNoWriMo, will begin, which is basically a writing CONpetition lasting the length of November. The goal is 50,000 words, but I think I'm gonna aim for 30,000. And it's all gonna be on MB projects, pretty much.
So, first up is finishing up this story double-time, and then I have plans to make a LEGO Ninjago Movie prequel, which should be a blast. Outside of that, I'm still working on CONcepts for either another story related to this one, either a CONplete rewrite, or a sequel.
Okay, this is all the moar I have for a little while.
“Please don’t!” I said. My brain raced. All my planned conversations now seemed flat and distant, out of immediate reach. “Hey, it’s just…I don’t know. I goofed. You don’t know how many different versions of the reveal I had dreamt of. I had been planning this out for ages. I had wanted to throw it in your face at one point; I’d wanted to keep it secret forever at others. And in the end, I picked the worst possible method, and didn’t include you at all.”
“I’m sure there were worse.”
“Yes, but they died when I stopped hating you.” I shrugged. “You mean a lot to me Celeste. It’s just, well, I’m a guy. I plead obliviousness.”
“Do you have flowers?”
“No.”
“Good.” She said, and motioned to the table set up in the middle of the room. “Shall we sit down?”
“Yeah.” I said, and led her over. I held the chair for her, as prescribed in the YouTube tutorial, and then seated myself. “How about this? Exclusive, one-on-one, no-bars question session. Ask me anything, and I’ll answer you.”
“What’s your secret?” She said. “You’re not on an immersion rig, that’s for certain.”
“Chatter combat.” I said. “There was hidden depth programmed into that operating system.”
“How are you so darn quick with the commands?”
“Typing games growing up.” I shrugged.
“How did you feel about me showing up that one day?”
“I almost strangled Mateo.”
“What’s next?”
“I’m challenging all the greats to a battle tomorrow night.”
“Do you think you’ll win?”
“I’ll say I’ve got a fair shot.”
“Who are you most worried about?”
“Skul, hands-down.”
“Do you love me?”
I didn’t hesitate. “I think so.”
If it weren't for the fact that you're gonna challenge the greats, I'd have given up on this
