Bought my first LEGO set in a long time The new Tron: Legacy set
Nice! I really want the new roller coaster as I LOVE roller coasters, but its SO EXPENSIVE. We'll see if I end up getting it as as present. Thing is I already get the winter sets as a present, so if there's one of those I would rather continue my collection.
~l)~/\/~/-\~ The tie between real life and legos is imagination .

That roller coaster looks amazing and is, in my opinion, one of the best if not the best LEGO set in the last few years. If I recall correctly, it costs $380, so it's far out of my price range. Regardless, I'm super impressed by it and look forward to seeing what other builders create utilizing the track pieces.

It sells for nearly as much as an iPad, or £299.99. I believe in the US it costs more than a new iPad. I also heard it can be upgraded with power functions which is amazing, wonder what that would be like... On LEGO's official site it says it can be upgraded with Power Functions or LEGO Boost which is quite interesting. I probably won't be picking it up anytime soon as I don't own any of the more expensive LEGO sets.
Yeeeeears ago I was in the LEGO Loyalty program where you had a stampcard and every $25 you spent, you got a stamp. Then they replaced that with the VIP card where every dollar you spend in an official LEGO store or online, you get one points. Every 100 points is redeemable for a $5 gift card. But it doesn't count if you like spend it at Target or Wal-Mart, just online or in the LEGO Store or LEGOLAND etc.

That seems interesting, but spending at LEGO only places would be interesting too. I think the best place for me to earn VIP points would be the LEGO Online Store, not sure about other places though.

Yeah that's where I order most of mine too cuz for the longest time the nearest store was a whole state away. Now they built one nearish but I still just order online lol

I don't think I order LEGO online, usually I buy from a store that sells LEGO (excluding a LEGO Store)

Yeah I try to only buy from official stores or online because of the VIP points XD guess the program worked on me
Last weekend was the Battlecry FRC offseason event. It’s regarded as the most prestigious offseason in New England. My team ended up ranked 2nd out of 60 TEAMS!! Our climbing mechanism is working wonderfully and we had many 4 ranking point matches. Unfortunately we lost in the semifinals due to bad luck, but we had a great time.
