*I glance up from my tea and book and look around*
Oh, hello everyone. I don't know if anyone on here know of me, but I joined the the LMBs around 2011-2012, before the great 2012 update, so I definitely count as an Old Timer.
Anyone wanna reminisce sadly about the old LMBs?
I don't recognize you lol but that was about when I started ramping down my activity on the boards

Ye! I remember you! I was just reminiscing myself. =P

I am not sure if I remember you. What forums did you post in?

Primarily in the LOTR and The Hobbit forums, as well as the Star Wars Original Saga RP, but I posted around everywhere when I saw interesting topics. I also had several (Unfinished) stories in the MB stories forum.

I didn't post in those forums so I wouldn't have known you

I logged on to the LEGO Message Boards on February 5th 2015, so I've been posting for 3 years now. That does make me an old timer, right?
Or does it not?
I don't think so. First of all, I think they're talking about the rank before the 2012 update (although maybe not); second of all, if not, then probably people from before the 2012 update.
I never watched the TV show so I didn't care for any of this:P.
You need to drop whatever you are doing with your life and go watch it!!! It's amazing, heartfelt and emotional, comedic, action packed, full of wisdom, dramatic, plot twists galore, it never forgets even the side characters as they all have important parts to play in every season, references old LEGO themes, literally everything you could want from a show!
Is it on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
~l)~/\/~/-\~ The tie between real life and legos is imagination .

*Glances up from own tea, which is absurdly sweet beyond reckoning*
Yes, yes I do.
I miss the old BIONICLE community! I had those suckers fine blokes hooked on my comedies and long-stories!
And I would've been able to write many more of them if it weren't for LEGO making awful business decisions that serve only to punish their fans for having passion in their community and the franchise they support
Just as an example, the BIONICLE RP community for one has been displaced and forced to try and put itself back together again, which is turning out to just be a complete mess. The main BIONICLE forum sees next to no activity, and the RP is going really slow as well.
Oh, and since I mentioned the RP: I might as well mention the excessive drama taking place there. Not pretty, or necessary.
Ugh... I miss the red-brick version of the LMBs. Those had structure, and nice people

That's because the Bionicle Roleplay people have been away on their own site since mid 2016 after the Old Bionicle RP was shut down. Most everyone else in the Bionicle roleplays have also come to our site after the announcement of the boards being shut down. So I wouldn't say that we're as disjointed as it seems, just gathered elsewhere.
Can't speak for the main forum though. After a second cancellation, what else is there really left to say about it?
