That's fine depending on its time of showing. How did it do already now that it's been released? Woah, really?
Star Wars was the reason I haven't posted all weekend:P. It was INSANE! Opening night we had 7 showings, sold out 2, and packed the others. This was all in a matter of 3 hours, it was crazy. Then Friday and Saturday were even worse. Saturday we sold out all but ONE showing of Star Wars, and that was the last one of the night at 10:30, so obviously it wasn't gonna sell out:O! I saw it Friday night after work as I didn't close. I saw it in 3D actually, but my eyes must be weird as I didn't notice anything 3D:P. It was AWESOME:D! I know it got mixed reviews, but it seems that everybody who gave it bad reviews were 40 year old men who say it "ruined their childhood". So yeah, don't trust the reviews, you'll love it:P!
Must be really hard work. I used to think that's the fun thing about working at the theater, but eh. Here in my country, the amount of people in one theater would depend, though I'm sure it did well, just not as big as The Last Jedi either. Oh really? Did it make you dizzy afterwards?
Sorry to say this, but I disagree. Already seen it last Saturday and I walked out of the theater not only disappointed but angry. I mostly stayed off the social media for one whole week and this is what I got. Surprised my score for this is lower than the prequels even if this one is at least better than Episodes I and II. At least I'm not one of those fans who give complaints like that. Most of my complaints are spoilers, so I'll just say that the script is messy (too many subplots), humor was a bit not-so Star Wars, and more plot holes came. I don't feel like seeing it again either. I'll give it a 5/10.
For those who haven't seen it (and really want to see it) and have still not seen any spoilers, good job. I still suggest you don't search for anything Star Wars related.

I wasn't dizzy, it just looked 2D:P. I liked it, I think people are just mad because it makes some changes to stuff people didn't like. Apparently you are one of those people. I didn't mind the humor either, I really don't care, I like a good joke here and there. I agree it was the least SW of all the movies, but I don't really think that a movie is bad because of change.

Hmm, I guess I'll be staying home if one of my relatives treat us to watch TLJ again (this time in IMAX since it'll only show in IMAX or in 4D on December 25-January 7). It's not the changes that I hated the most; it's just that the script is messy and has too many subplots that some character arcs are just nothing. Oh, and the plot holes increased (can't give an example due to spoilers) and more spoilery complaints. I might need to see it again though to have my opinion changed and to finally not get bashed by those who disagree with me, errr... wait.
Okay, maybe I made a mistake by saying the humor didn't have a Star Wars feel to it since I found them a bit funny anyway, but what I meant was they could have toned the humor just a bit even if there were only few moments of comedy.

Just a little question for those who've seen The Last Jedi in IMAX (most especially in IMAX 70mm), did the aspect ratio change in some scenes or did it still have those black bars? I heard it was filmed with IMAX cameras but there seems to be almost no news about it in IMAX 70mm and the IMAX difference (which is released for every movie shown in IMAX that uses the 1:90:1 aspect ratio).

Is it worth watching in 3D? Or should I watch in 2D. I saw the Force Awakens at an IMAX, same with all the Hobbit movies but not sure whether to watch The Last Jedi at an IMAX or not.

The 3D movies don't seem to be that great. I saw Thor: Ragnarok in 3D and it didn't look that great, but still was an enjoyable movie.
Just here to ask a question (forgot what the answer was back since it was answered back in the time of the LMB's at around 2015 or last year; I have a bad memory sry): How old should your account be in the LMB's to join this place?
Technically it was 3 years on the LMBs, but honestly, now anybody can post here as we need the activity. Just join in if you know what we're talking about or ask any questions concerning the old days!
So what's the point of calling this "LMB Old Timers!"?

Tell me the plot holes in jammers. Just curious as I can't think of any off the top of my head. I saw nothing wrong with the script TBH.

I have never seen an IMAX movie. I didn't notice 3D because of my eyes, but if you like 3D movies then sure.
