I don't really know. I guess people don't like the fact that Keith respects his grandmother, mother, wife, nieces and daughters. Some people take it as an attack on manhood. I don't see how they come to that conclusion. It's not like he's saying these things don't happen to men too.
I personally like the song. Especially when I think about Keith's hometown. It's known for being a domestic violence capital. A lot people worship him, so maybe some will realise that their view of women is no longer the norm.
Gee, I remember some (soon to be divorced) guy saying his wife shouldn't get anything from their relationship earnings. "All she does is stay at home with the kids". As if being a stay at home parent isn't a full time job.
I don't feel that way at all, I find it stupid that people think that. Then again, I find it stupid that people do bad stuff to girls. Makes me sick.
Just because it's on the same topic. People are saying the same thing about the Incredibles II movie. All because Mr Incredible is a stay at home dad and Elastigirl is the main protagonist. It's kinda funny.

How do you get 2 songs out of your head? I can’t get Toto - Africa (I BLESS THE RAINS, DOWN IN AFRICAAAAAA!!!!) and Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) (WHO AM I TO DISAGREE?) The latter probably because the singer shares a country of birth with me.

Not that many. For some reason, people from all over the state come to my neighborhood on Halloween. The roads are even blocked off because there are so many people.
