Woah, one week ago marked the five year anniversary of my first LMB post! It honestly doesn't seem like half a decade has passed since that night in 2012. So much has changed in my life, and obviously obviously a lot has changed on the boards as well. I was 8 then, and I'm 13 now. I was about to go into 3rd grade then, and I'm about to go into 8th grade now. The 12 year olds on the boards then that I thought were just so old and I'd never be 12, guess what? They're 17 now. It just doesn't seem like it's been so long. But in many ways I'm still the same Lego nerd I was then. Just yesterday I went to a local independent lego store and bought some classic figs and sets. I guess some things never change.

Yeah I was guessing you were old by the Gen 1 Bionicle avatar. I joined them back in '06 when I made an account to play the old Drome Racers Challenge game and then really started posting around '08ish.

Same. The Gen II was too watered down to be any good. I used to do a ton of roleplay, but then people stopped being imaginative and it wasn't fun anymore. I haven't done it in a few years. And by a few, I mean like 6

The times pass like sand through a glass, does it not? I remember some of my best memories of the LEGO Message Boards, and that is from nearly a decade ago. Time will pass us all.

I pretty much only did classics roleplay like Alpha Team, Agents, Power Miners, Atlantis and Pharoah's Quest. I'm not real big into LEGO's licensed themes in general.
How is everyone? I found the Ninjago Movie sets at Target today. TBH, they don't interest me as much as normal Ninjago sets, but they're still cool!
The movie doesn't interest me as much as the regular show too I like the new hair pieces though. The shark people are just dumb -_- that's not even Garmadon's style it's just ridiculous.

I liked G2 as well. I ended up collecting all of the sets and building JTO Makuta.

I like the designs, but I don't want them to carry over into the tv show. The shark people are probably there to keep Meowthra at bay. Or... Water game confirmed?

Well its fun You'd be the only member aside from me which is fine, there is plenty we could do including classicism to it! I remember pharaoh's quest, Lego can never keep their own themes, always has to be something like LOTR or SW.

Hello Dalar. Are the new Ninjago Movie sets out already? I thought that movie was still a few months away.
Although the movie comes out next month, most of the sets are available now. I picked up some collectible mini figs and the smallest set to see how the new ninja hoods work.
