What's wrong with your finger? Yeah, I have been uber occupied with school projects. They are all wrapping up now though and finals week is in two weeks. Then I start my internship! First "real" job
I broke it open and got a VERY bad slice in it when trying to separate 2 chairs at work:S:P. Finals aren't for 2 weeks? Most people I know are getting out now, for example, my bro is coming home tomorrow:D! Congrats on your internship, what is it?
Ouch! Yeah, MSOE has an odd schedule. We aren't on a semester system we are on a quarter system so there are three 11-week quarters of school and then one quarter off for summer.
Wait, you read it?!!?!?? You only liked every single post paragraph by paragraph for like 2 years as I wrote it
I'm gonna repost it, chunk it into chapters, read it and catch up myself, try and remember where I was going with it, and start it up again if I have the time I used to use that story as a warm up for writing my book but since I finished the first book, I haven't had much motivation to crank out much writing. I started the second and third books but haven't gotten very far into them and I need to amp up writing again so yeah, planning on continuing it! There are elements of the Flash Jackson story that will be used later in my series so it's worth it. Flash is actually a character in my stories eventually, though not as LEGO minifig of course, but basically the same person in a more realistic future world and a bit darker of a storyline.
Oh, forgot about your book! Is it published? I will have to catch up too then so I can read it:D! Should I post comments about it here instead, or do you not mind if we post stuff there? Just asking because I know comments can get in the way in stories.
No, it's not published yet lol I need an editor but I can't hire one 'til I make more money I made it reaaally dramatic now though and have started on the next two books in the series. it takes a lot of research to write a good book too and I need to do more before I write the other two. I did a lot for this one like talking to people from the countries the story takes place in, talked to some military consultants for like strategy and stuff, researched online about some of the locations they visit, there is a lot that goes into a book. More than I thought lol.

Yeah, that's weird. I think you told me about the weird trimester thing before.

Well, I think I'm late to the party, (or is it funeral?) but I've washed ashore and I've made it to this little island.
How is everyone?
G! I am SO GLAD you're here:D! I didn't think I would ever see you again. I wanted to post something on LMB OLD TIMERS! about this place, but it kept getting rejected for obvious reasons:(.

Thank you for the warm welcome, Diglett.
It sounds like I need to set some things straight. I knew about this place before the LEGO.com Message Boards were closed and deleted. I quietly watched just to make sure it looked safe and friendly, but really I knew I couldn't just hop on because I was really grieved that the LEGO.com Message Boards were gone. I needed time to heal.

Eyyyyyyy! Welcome
Hello, Eagleeye. It's great to see a classic user like you still around. Really, I wasn't too sure who might make the cross-dimensional trip here, much less just let it go and decide not to come.

I know what you mean. This place still isn't the same, not to mention LOTS of my best LMB friends aren't here. Glad you joined though!

I've been on alternate message boards for years lol MLNteam back in the day (which I still check now and again), now Rock Raiders United and here. It seems a lot of people came here, but seem to have left already and there's just a few oldies left here now.

I'll try to make the best of what we have here. I remember that Peat-a-peat seemed worried about the severed connection. Sadly, I have no way to contact her, much less so many other greats that left years ago. I wish that your friends are doing well, wherever they are.

I've lurked around the MLNTeam a long time ago and have peaked a little at the Rock Raiders place too. I suppose that the death and terrible deletion of the LEGO.com Message Boards is sort of a third "migration".

I miss PAP too. I had a month long chat with her and ROA in the Lava Monsters Soda Shop at the end. Was probably the best chat I ever had on here. I wish they were here:(.

The last conversations that I had with my friends on the LMBs were some of the best for me too. Perhaps that was the "out with a bang" that I craved. Like two sparks of tears rolling down the face of a departing person. It was small, but mighty, like the way a light bulb burns brightest just before it expires, my deeply felt friendships burned brightest at the end.
Peat-a-peat seem so sure that it was her time to let go. For that I do not feel grieved that she is not here. I wonder why I am here, what thing is incomplete that I came to the relocation. I guess I haven't grown-up like Peat-a-peat had personally.

I haven't grown up either, so you're not alone:P. I am a kid at heart.
