Here is the map, if you have additions or changes you want made, let me know.
Cool, but I'd kinda like my planets lumped into a big spread/out blob on the lower right. Also: *Kor fleet goes and claims all inactive peoples' planets.*
I couldn't think of w decent sig, so here's a pig: 🐷
OOC: Hey Shamrock , can you tell me about your planet and so on? I just need to know, 'cause I'm gonna attack you sometime before I go inactive.
OOC: OK.
The Starlight Empire is what I like to call a democratic dictatorship. The people elect a Lord from one of the Noble Houses as ruler for life. They can do what they like, as long as it doesn't violate the Sacred Laws. These laws are things like human rights, and so on. The current Ruler-for-Life is Lord Mordred of House Starlight, Emperor of the Starlit Lands and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Armies. The empire is named after him, as he was the one who overthrew the Sea King, one of the corrupt rulers that used to reign over the Galaxy. Ask Junior for more on the Kings.
The capital of the empire is Ociana, a sea planet. Other than a few island holiday resorts, everybody lives deep underwater, in watertight facilities. Some are on the seabed, others are further up. Ociana is protected by the Ociana Defence Fleet, a large number of satellites, and multiple planetary shields. Incoming ships land on floating landing pads, which are equipped with SAMs and AA batteries to shoot down invaders. All transport on the planet is conducted by submarines. In addition to the transport submarines, there is a large force of military ones patrolling the planet.
Others planets are Maristellar, Inlustris, Thorna, and Junglia. Maristellar is a sea planet covered in coral. It is the headquarters of the military, with no civilians. Inlustris is another water world, with a larger number of civilians attracted by the valuable Inlustris Crystals. Thorna is a forest planet, with a large civilian population, and Junglia is a jungle planet used solely for scientific research. All have a varying level of security, similar to the one I described for Ociana.
They are detected by the satellites during their travels. After a brief examination of tactical data from other conflicts involving the species, encrypted clearances are broadcast back into Esomerian space, a large portal is ripped into the area facing the Borg fleet, and an impressive amount of kinetic munitions come racing towards the Borg. They penetrate the cubes and engage, melting the structures from inside.
After a couple of cubes are destroyed the kinetic munitions simply bounce harmlessly of the shields of the borg cubes, the borg ships open fire with transphasic torpedoes and omega weapons for good measure.
The portal reopens from other angles. This time, the munitions are being fired at a quarter of the speed of light. They overpower the Borg shields and once again, pierce through, and destroy more Borg cubes.
The ships at the Esomerian planet decolak and open fire at the shield generators with khroniton torpedoes.
The torpedoes are intercepted by the satellites and missile silos on the planet's surface. They then proceed to fire large amounts of fission and anti-shield missiles at the cloaked ships, melting the fleet.
