Neko enters the lobby, in hope of finding answers some how.
OOC: It would seem that I completely missed your post before this. D: I'm super sorry and it most definitely shall not happen again. >:0

Welcome to the Lobby!
Current time: 5:50am
There’s a song playing on the radio!
Come And Go With Me- The Del-Vikings
♬
Faint rays of sunlight shine their way through the huge windows of the lobby, sparkling down on the newly cleaned marble floor.
Fellow guests come in and out of the elevator, going to and fro with an obvious nervousness about them.
News of the previous day's unfortunate events has clearly set everyone on edge. You're nervous too, and it's abundantly clear that not everyone in this strange hotel is certain that Ruperts fate was indeed an "Accident."
There's something much more sinister going on here, and you intend to find out what.
But how?
I wonder who discovered the body. If they haven't left yet, maybe I can get some answers. Maybe an employee knows.
The bulletin board said to be careful around sharp objects... He was probably smashed with a knife.
And if so, what kind of knife? Who has a knife?
Your grumbling stomach snaps you out of your thoughts.
A. But first, food. - "I'll head to the dining room."
B. I don't feel like eating. - "I should ask around. Maybe one of the Jay-clones knows who found the body."

Ic: Neko bit her lip indecisively. She was hungry but wanted answers. However, if she ate a good breakfast, she'd be able to go until supper before needing to eat again, giving her more time. So, having come to a decision, Neko heads to the dining room.

Welcome to the dining room!
♬
The huge, brightly lit room is packed. People chatter noisily, silverware, plates and pans clatter and above the chaotic din, the merry tune of a piano can be heard in the back. You take a seat and flip curiously through the menu, every now and then pausing to look around.
Some of your fellow breakfasters appear to have chosen some rather odd dishes for their first meal of the day. At one table, a man digs into a huge bowl of beans. Yep. Just beans. And at another, a lady happily bites into a deviled egg topped with brightly colored sprinkles. One man helps himself to a huge plate of jello.
You can't help but stare, bug-eyed at the strangers around you, holding back a snicker.
Jay: "Good morning, miss! Have you decided on anything yet?"
Well, there's a lot of different kinds of knifes here. Jay has rubber ones for sale at $4.99 but the question is are they actually...efficient? Is the Smasher careless enough to leave behind a money trail? Could the knife be from the dining room? Or did the Smasher prepare one beforehand? Man, if that really is the case the hotel security is---
---Whistling?Leaf snaps out of her thoughts and quickly scans over the empty lobby, becoming more ad more curious of its source. Deciding to put the thought of food to the side, the photographer leaves the chatting girl and Jay clone and follows the music to the side rooms, humming quietly along the radio tune.
OoC: A
♫ Jeepers creepers, where'd ya get those peepers? ♫
Your quick footsteps against the squeaky clean marble floors mach perfectly to the beat of the song.
♫ Jeepers creepers, where'd ya get them eyes? ♫
The whistling is getting louder now.
♫ Gosh all git up, how'd they get so lit up? ♫
You peek inside.
♫ Gosh all git up, how'd they get that size? ♫
A particularly cheerful looking miss awaits your gaze as you peek curiously inside the brightly lit room. She's been mopping the floor.
She dunks the mop into her bucket that's filled to the brim with grimy looking water, and surveys her hard work with a satisfied grin.
You: "Hello!" Jay: "Oh, hello! Anything I can help you with, miss?"
A. I have some questions. - "Yes actually." B. Maybe I'll introduce myself first.- "Not at the moment. My name's Leaf. Isn't it a lovely morning?"
Seeing how cheery the Jay clone is despite the grim atmosphere hanging over the hotel, Leaf's spirit immediately brightens. The photographer silently decides to put her questions aside for the moment as she, too, looks upon the spotless, sparkling floor.
"Oh no, everything's good. Thank you though!" she smiles a little in return. "My name is Leaf! How's this lovely morning been for ya?"
"OK. OK," Tigress mutters, trying to make her heart slow down. "No big deal. We'll just-- we'll just keep going. Let's see where this tunnel leads. Surely it goes somewhere." And not to a dead end, she adds to herself in her head.
"Umm. Ok. I guess we'll just have to follow this tunnel while we're still in our pajamas." Zach has a brilliant idea "Since it's scary here, what if we scared it first? Kind of like...RAWRRR" Zach shouts down the tunnel trying to imitate a bear.
Sorry if I haven't been replying for a while, JayPie. I just finished college and finally got time to catch up with the LMBE. I've moderated some of it, and it's really great writing and description for the roleplay! Great job, JayPie!

"Sssshhhuuussh!!" Biting back laughter, Tigress slaps her hands over Zach's mouth. "We could wake up somebody! Or-- or let whoever took out Rupert know we're in here!" Despite the grim words, she's giggling. "But. . . yeah, that does kinda help make the tunnel feel less scary," she adds. "We should probably keep going. Any danger in this tunnel's probably been scared off by now."

Jay: "Good morning, miss! Have you decided on anything yet?"
Neko stifled a laugh. She does not want to be downwind of the bean-eating man anytime soon. She smiles as a Jayclone addresses her, and nods, "May I please have pancakes and bacon, with a cup of green tea, if you have it. If not, milk will be fine."
Sorry if I haven't been replying for a while, JayPie. I just finished college and finally got time to catch up with the LMBE. I've moderated some of it, and it's really great writing and description for the roleplay! Great job, JayPie!
Congratulations, good sir! That's alright. UwU You must have been super busy. :0 Wow, thank you so much!

Any danger in this tunnel's probably been scared off by now."
Onwards the two of you bravely trek, the rickety wooden walls becoming increasingly more narrow the further you crawl. You find several other tiny doors, each one locked. And no matter how many times Zack tried to kick them open, they wouldn't budge. Long abandoned dusty cobwebs brush against your hair, your backs sore, and pesky splinters dig into the soft flesh of your hands. The air is warm and hard to breath, and Zack's constant sneezing is a good way to tell that he's still there in the darkness.
You reach an old, rusty ladder going downwards at the next dead end. The both of you eagerly clamber on to it, relieved to finally be able to straighten your cramped backs.
Tigress shines her light down curiously.
Tigress: "I hope this leads out of here. I've crawled through so many spiderwebs and now I'm feeling really itchy!" Zack: "Yeah, me too."
After a while you finally reach the bottom, another cramped tunnel awaits you.
Tigress: "Ughh, more crawling."
Several more minutes pass and Tigress stops for a quick break, head down as she wipes her grimy forehead with the back of her equally dirty hand.
Zack: "Wait! Keep going, I see light up ahead!" Tigress: "Really? Sweet! Our ticket out of here! Come on!"
The light is coming from another small door, and unlike the others you've encountered thus far, is cracked open a pinch.
You peek through the crack, squinting as your eye adjusts to the glaringly bright room on the other side.
Zack: "What are you waiting for?" He whispers. "Let's go!"
Tigress: "Shh! This could be someone's room. I don't want to barge in on them. It'd be rude."
From what you can see, the room on the other side is a cozy little office. Huge wooden bookcases line the lovely red wallpapered walls, and an empty fireplace lies in the middle of it all. A big fancy desk is in front of the huge window.
Zack: "I don't hear anyone, let's go--" Tigress: "Wait. Someone's opening the door."

You hear footsteps.
"Look, I know gardening isn't your strong suit, but someone's gotta fix the greenhouse. It's a mess! Everything's a mess." "Why can't Jay do it? She's the one who always took care of it." Worn, red sneakers comes into your field of vision as one of the speakers walks to the desk. You hear the sound of paper being shuffled. "Because she caught the flu, you doofus. Didn't you hear?" "Jay, we're all named Jay. I heard someone named "Jay" caught the flu. Not that Jay." "...Yeah, that's confusing. Uh, why don't you organize a naming party or something? Give everyone a new and a name tag and what not. That should make things easier." "But what about the greenhouse?" "Eh, get the name-tag business done first." "Got it." "Oh! Before you go, you got those dumb tunnels closed, right? We can't have anymore idiots getting stuck in the walls anymore. It's getting ridiculous." "Yep, all done. Here are the important blueprints that map out where the tunnels lead that you let me borrow." "Thanks. I'll just put it on my desk here so no one can steal it and have free access to anywhere in the hotel. Including the greenhouse that is currently closed." "Good plan, Jay." "Thank you, Jay." The two continue to chatter.
A. Let's get out of here! - "Uh, hi. Sorry for eavesdropping on your conversation. We were stuck." B. We should wait until they leave before we do anything. C. Let's find another door.

Jay: "Of course!"
She replies politely. Not five minutes pass and she returns with your meal.
Jay: "Enjoy!"
You: "Well that was fast."
Just as you're about to dig in, someone walks up to your table with an awkward grin spread across her pale features.

Heart-pounding in her ears with tension, Tigress leans over and whispers ever-so-softly to Zach, "We should wait until they leave to do anything. We need those blueprints." With him, she sits very still and waits, while listening attentively to the Jays' chatter in case she should miss anything important.
