To the greatest community I have ever had the pleasure of participating in,
Owing to a recent staff vote, Helios will soon be given control of the main administrative account, and the authority of the Head of Administration. My own activity on this site will either dwindle or spring up.
I'd like to take a moment to thank you all for being part of this community, and making LMB Eternal fun and interesting for everyone. Words cannot describe how much fun it's been looking after you all as your Head Administrator.
Now, the official terms and conditions for Helios:
To the degree he is able, he must ensure that the site must never be unusable unless no user has accessed the site for 6 months. He must also ensure, as well as he is able, that the content on this site is always able to be viewed, regardless of inactivity. He must never punish a user for anything that happened before I made this post (with the exception of punishments for repeated actions, including at least one action made after this post). Finally, he must always put the community -- you, the users -- first in decision-making for LMBE.
Also, I had better not get banned.
Helios, please post your agreement here.
Best of wishes Sham, my dear friend. Your post as admin will be remembered for everything you did for us.
Is this a reason why moderation has been a little wacky lately?
Short answer, no not really. It might have taken up moderating time a few times but there are other reasons why moderating is kind of all over the place at times particularly for the last few days/week.

Farewell from Administrating Sham. I won't tell anyone my opinion on this because I'd probably get banned.

My opinion is: sad, but it's really fine if I don't get banned.

Well that's awfully convenient for your buddy YJF T_T
I am concerned at the complete ignorance the staff have placed upon democracy and the fact that Shamrock was elected by the users and Helios was elected by a select few.
That is what we call a dictatorship.
And I guarantee that this will be rejected.
I'm sorry to break it to you like this, Ciar, but this isn't a democracy. And if it is, it's an optional democracy. We have the right to choose our executive based on how we find it best to do so, and in this case the staff decided that the best course of action was taking a staff vote to decide the new head administrator should be chosen by staff vote. The original MBs weren't a public democracy, and while we may sometimes choose to ask users for their votes to decide a new leader, in this case, we haven't.
Kind regards, ~ Helios
It's not a dictatorship -- it's a communist state. Except nobody has to work long hours in factories
