Well I have been writing a LOT lately. I've been trying to write a short fantasy novel, and I finally got over my writers' block I had for my Ninjago fan fiction Gravitation, so I've been writing that too.

Hi writer peeps, tryin' to save this thread from dying here. I've written only Ninjago stuff on the old LMBs, and have written a bunch of random pieces in my lil' writer's notebook. Here's a smidge from 'A Changeling Changing' (cringe ):
"What's happening with your drawings? It's, well, weird," Lucresia judged her brother's painting over his shoulder. Caelum was painting a scene in a movie they watched earlier, though, in his own art form, he painted it as if it happened in his dream. {It was the scene where Luke kissed Leia's forehead in The Last Jedi } Lucresia didn't like it. It felt like betraying his old artwork, the ones with, at least, a cheery colour scheme. The ones he made when they were younger. With a loving look Caelum gazed at his twin sister, her hair a tint of blue, her eyes black, and her lips grey. Her different appearance from a few months ago (back then, her eyes were green, her hair a hazel mess) made Caelum understand why the sudden bitter attitude to his ongoing project. Changelings like the twins Lucresia and Caelum's biological appearance would alter, according to their maturity. Caelum knew that, for a fact, Lucresia hates growing up. And now, her appearance showed that she was. Caelum said, "I'm just changing, Luke.{He calls her that 'cause 'Lucresia' is pronounced Loo-Kres-ee-ya} Looks like you are too." Caelum then went back to his painting. At her brother's remark, Lucresia's hands danced on her face, looking at the mirror on Caelum's right. She touched her hair, eyebrows, lip, everything on her head, then turned to a picture Caelum kept beside the mirror. It was when they were younger, and Lucresia's appearance had a warm colour scheme. She sighed. "It's-it's not a change."
That one was inspired by one Adventure Time episode, where Jake the dog's brother Germaine had been painting abstract, rather than the realistic landscapes he did. What're y'all's random inspiration for stories?

Hey a fellow Ninjago writer! Welcome to the LMBE!
That's awesome!
All sorts of things, music, movies, books, video games, pictures, places I go, the list goes on and on. Music is a really big inspiration, especially lately.

Thanks and thanks!
Yeah, inspiration strikes everywhere, and when you least expect it, mostly. I actually think I've never gotten inspired by music at all in my life. Though there are some stories in my old notebook that had lyrics of songs in the sentences, and it makes me cringe hardcore

What I want to know is why paint that scene?
Why not? Honestly, I'd pay a professional artist to paint that scen and hang it on my wall!

What a lovely piece of the story! ^v^ Did you ever finish it? How old is it exactly? :3
I think lots of my more random inspirations for stories comes mainly from the music I listen to, the books I read, and the movies/TV shows I watch. I like it when the inspirations of others inspires me. What about you?

Thanks! >u< I did finish it, though it took two weeks probably. I started, then stopped in the middle, then put in little additions and finally finished it. It kinda took me to feel the emotions that was in the scene, then I could continue it. (That was back then, now I write whatever I can think of ). I think this piece was finished when the LMBEs was still young, 'cause I remember associating it with this LMB and LMBE change thing. (Man, my writings used to be so symbolic XD)
My random inspirations are just basically what I'm feeling atm. Give me a few seconds staring at nothing, then bam, a new piece. This is very recently, of course. I used to have that Special SparkTM to write anything

I, too, used to have a special spark. But it's been lost for years now and the missing posters didn't help. *wipes tears* u_u Honestly, inspirations just hit anytime, anywhere. Sometimes it's right before I fall asleep and I can't remember it in the morning.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes, I would read old pieces that was co written by that Spark, just so I can miss it. :3
Ikr! Sometimes when that happens, I'd stay up and write up that inspiration, like the whole story that just suddenly popped in my head. I may have sleep deprivation in the morning, but a good writing piece is woorth iiit.

Wow, that's neat! Aww. :3 (XD Not so much anymore? ) How long are your stories usually?
Heheh, nice. xD That must make for a good collection of interesting and diverse concepts for stories.

Thanks c: I don't think my writings are as godly ( ) as it used to be before, but I'm pretty dang sure it's just random pieces, nothing symbolic. Given my small handwriting and how I'd fill up to two pages in a4 sized notebooks, I'd say pretty long. Sometimes I even had to shorten the story out so that it ends right at the bottom of the page for aesthetics .
