For all my fellow Vocalovers/Vocafans, good news! I'm writing a Vocaloid/Ninjago crossover called "Jade Song!"
I just want to know how to write a crossover effectively. I don't want to lose friends on here for this or anything, so I want this to be really good .Any suggestions?
Try employing secondary motion, perspective proportioning, and overlapping. I would suggest Manga, especially if you struggle with stiffness. Manga is big about hair and clothes so it might help you practice and find great tips….also it's sorta generally easier that realistic.
That and a more cartoony style are what I'm pretty much doing by default.
Ah ha, my mom is great at realistic but I didn't seem to inherit.

Hm. . . I've never done an official crossover before (though I've come pretty close), so I wouldn't really know how to do it effectively. It'll probably help, though, to give characters from both sides of the different worlds equal and significant parts to play, so that the reader will be equally interested in both of them.
Heyo. I'm a writer, much like yourselves. I write fanfic when I need Imagination Lubrication and a variable slew of unfinished stories that, as of yet, remain unfinished (Which isn't a bad thing just as long as I don't stretch any stories too thin when even my readers know it ended six chapters ago.). I just work on whichever one I feel like working on at the moment. If that makes any sense...

Hola! I'm one too, imagine that!
I've done a mixture of fanfic and originals on here. What type of fanfics do you like to do?
It's been a while since I've tried balancing multiple stories...I used to do it a lot, I'd always have to limit myself to like 2 (and maybe some co-writes), or else I wouldn't be able to keep up.

Wow! Fancy meeting you here!
Any type, really. Star wars, LotR, Ninjago, PotC. Pretty much anything I feel like, and I know how that sounds, and I'm sorry in advance if that offends you. Right now I'm working on a fanfic I plan on pitching to Disney/Lucasfilms Press.
And yeah, two at a time is a good pace to set.;D

It's a small world.
I did a co-write fan fic on here for POTC once with Sweets, it was a gallon of fun. We never finished it, of course. So these aren't MB stories?
It really is. Three is a bit of a challenge, but I think I did it once for a bit.

Not all of them, no. I did very little on the MBs, most of my stories were starwars, or otherwise for separate RPs I helpped make. For instance, I had a story on the Star Wars gallery called "An Ancient Darkness Awakened"- Though unfinished of the two public SW stories I had I think it was by far the better. Though it was also made for an RP, so there are sort of bigger-than-I-wanted gaps of information that the reader wouldn't know had they not read the other RPs. It was like that for both of my stories. I also Had a PotC/Star wars crossover that was not well excepted at all...
Lately I've gone back to Lego Universe, where I can round my multi-genere writing very nicely.

Ah, I've done a lot of writing both on here and off. I never hit the Star Wars story board...fraid of spoilers. Personally, crossovers are really cool if done right. The hardest part is getting the characters together somehow...
Like the videogame? I never played it, by the time I went to check it out it had already been taken down. I played a bunch of LEGO Minifigures Online, though.
Just so you guys know, I might end up abandoning my previous Silent series project due to messing up the plot. Don't worry, though. I'm hoping to plan a new one.
