A. Only Mammoths with highish levels of magic were frozen in ice, the rest were cursed B. The Mammoth Tribe is led by Maulisa currently, Maulryene's daughter. Malkhan would be slightly lower in rank than her, and would ultimately defer to the warlike princess (who also dislikes magic, might I add)
A. That's fine. B. He'd defer, but wouldn't like it. There would probably be some sort of rivalry between them.
Maulisa is currently at the Vulture HQ, seeking an alliance to help locate the frozen mages, including her mother, Maulryene. You could have your mammoth appear there as part of her entourage, if you'd like. Other than that, I took over the Spiders, under Spelyne's reign (turning the reason they were isolationist becuz magic reasons), and yeah. A group of new users have appeared, with characters who all hate Chi. There was a debate on bullets, but it was accepted eventually.
Backstory (updated to fit)- Karma lived as an average Mammoth in his tribe, until a mysterious fire broke out. Nobody knew how it started, but several people suspected Karma himself of it. This swiftly led to him being ostracized and he picked up on combative training to protect himself. He excels at hand to hand combat and is deadly quick with a knife. He has developed a dual personality from being exposed to several life threatening experiences including being left hanging in the arctic for a week, getting trapped in a tunnel system for a month, and lastly almost being eaten by a giant spider. As of this point said personality is still stuck in his mind as it had no time to come out. He has a peculiar fondness of apples, and he was hired by Maulryene's Husband as an assassin. He has a personal habit of never killing a Chiman the same way twice, which has led to some... interesting cases. He also enjoys leaving half-eaten apples near his victims as a sort of calling card, and after assassinating several of Maulryene's enemies, her husband suggested for her to teach Karma magic, which she reluctantly decided on doing. Karma displayed loyalty to his employers and treated them with a level of blunt, slightly sarcastic respect. Karma began to think of the possibility of mixing magic with his hobby of technology, but he was frozen within the ice after being defeated by the Phoenix Kara.
I approve, and in fact look forward to Karma
We have to wait for the FAC to approve your magic though. If they don't make you the god of magic, I plan to reformat him into something more apt for the RP.

They already approved the magic, Keith. I really don't understand why we're actually discussing it in the FAC, besides the fact that other people want their own type of magic. There is no need to wait for any excess approval, provided you don't do something stupid and ludicrous.

They approved a few minor things. The main product has yet to pass. Insulting me won't change that.

I never insulted you. I said "Just don't do something stupid and you should be good"
Unless the main thing was minor stuff that you could do without Chi then no they haven't...
2 things.
1. Stop calling me that.
2. They approved magic, plain and simple. You can claim they didn't, but they did. That's that, I'm afraid.
1. no.
2. I'm afraid that your magic has been partially approved. The minor things seem to be good, but the rest has yet to pass. Repeating the same thing won't change that...
Name: Karma Species: Mammoth Gender: Male Affiliation: Mammoths, Ice Hunters Rank: Mage Commander Appearance: A standard mini-figure size. Constantly changes his wardrobe to fit his mood so his appearance tends to change daily. The day he was frozen however he was wearing silver-speckled black armor and wielding a similar colored ax. Equipment: Weapons vary with his appearance, but he does consistently carry a brown leather spell book with gold trim. He also always carries a poisoned Butterfly Knife hidden somewhere in his clothing. Backstory: Karma lived a normal life in an average household, until the day he decided to burn down the house. This swiftly led to him becoming an assassin of the unusual type. He excels at hand to hand combat and is deadly quick with a knife. He has developed a dual personality from being exposed to several life threatening experiences including being left hanging in the arctic for a week, getting trapped in a tunnel system for a month, and lastly almost being eaten by a giant spider. His likes to leave a calling card of a half eaten apple next to his victims and tends to have one on hand for such occasions. He has a personal habit of never ending a Chimian the same way twice which has led to several...interesting cases. After assassinating several of Maulryene's enemies, allowing her to rise to power he became one of the mammoth mages. During this time he began to study magic with a gusto, he also began to realize the possibility of mixing magic with his other hobby...technology. He was defeated however by the Phoenix Kara and frozen with his tribe.

I just realized, I can't, in good faith, let Karma have magic. At least not yet. Maulryene, even if her husband suggested it to her, wouldn't give magic to an assassin with such controversy surrounding him. A mysterious fire, as well as his dual-personality, she wouldn't do that. Perhaps, it's possible, for her to do it AFTER she gets unfrozen, but as it stands, he'd have to learn from another mage, possibly Malgus or the Sabretooth Mage. Perhaps Spelyne as well, that's a possibility, albeit a more ludicrous one.
Wait until Maulryene gets freed from the ice, and she can teach him perhaps. If not, Malgus could, Spelyne mayyyybe could I'm unsure about that, or the Sabretooth Mage could. Just wait a bit longer, and Karma can probably* have his magic.
*I say probably because I'm unsure as to what Malgus or the Sabretooth Mage will do. Spelyne would have to be sought out, and for Maulryene to do it she'd have to t r u s t him, and she has no incentive to trust him right now. He's too unstable, he is a wildcard, and Maulryene doesn't like wildcards.

That is a contradiction to your previous statements, which said as long as Karma's personality was hidden it would be ok. You have decided to attempt to null a crucial part of my characters backstory because I kept informing you that your magic has yet to fully pass the FAC. If you wish to take away magic from Karma's profile please take it up with the FAC and the Rep.

I'm afraid my previous statements must be contradicted, for they were incorrect. I do apologize, but it simply does not work. If this magic is such a crucial part of your character, perhaps you need to develop your character more. Not even Maulryene's identity is based around magic, even if it was formed from it. That is not my fault, but I am afraid, Karma has no magic unless someone else taught him, of which only a select few could. If you would wait for a short time, Maulryene could surely teach him if she felt it was appropriate, but that remains to be seen, as she is still frozen within the ice. I wish you the best, but I cannot give Karma magic on the simple basis of 'why not'. There is no logical reason.

You have ignored the first sentence of my previous post. Maulryene was not aware of Karma's dual personality therefore there is no reason why she wouldn't have taught him. You have also ignored the fact that your magic has yet to fully pass the FAC. Karma is perfectly formed, but taking away magic at this point would be like taking away Makuta's power of shadow. If you wish to change Karma's backstory you will have to take it up with the FAC and the Mods. Although I must state I don't appreciate you making a promise to let this character into this plot and then turning around and attempting to veto it. This leads me to belief that you giving me magic was nothing more then a bribe to shut me up about the problems it currently has.
