So basically the same thing we have planned for the roleplay.
I mean, we can go back and do prequel stories, but this way, we incorporate concepts from 1602 with characters from our favorite classic TV and stuff. Plus, it seems kinda weird to have Batman '66 become the present Batman... I mean, how long would it take for him to go from this...
to this...
I just don't see how we can do it without it feeling to... I dunno... rushed. It took seventy years to make the transition from these two in the comics. They are nearly two different characters.
I just don't see it.
to answer the question on how batman '66 could become the dark knight: all i really need to say is jason todd if done right, i think ciar's TDK inspired story could be really beautifully heartbreaking - the 60s detective is thrown into a darker world where no one he loves is safe, and we can really explore how he deals with that.
and on the point of using classic versions of characters, we should be original make the characters our own characters, drawing inspiration from all versions!
Jason Todd wasn't the only thing that made him who he is. Also, in order to add Jason, we'd have to remove Robin. Traditionally, he leaves because he and Bats have an argument. I don't see the '66 duo getting into an argument.
1. Sounds epic! But in addition to Black Widow and Hawkeye, could we have Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mariah Hill, Nick Fury? Maybe just a couple of them, like Hawkeye and Agent 13? It just seems like the whole Black Widow/Hawkeye is kinda overused. Other than that tiny detail, I like it.
2. What about Batman? Sounds good, bro!
1: yeah, i agree with that. with chapters 14 and 15 of Chain of Souls, i realized how much i actually enjoy writing spy characters, so using them to introduce the x-men would be pretty original and fun.
2: i don't necessarily want to write this second one, it was just my idea; i don't think i could do a good job of writing a compelling story since i'm just beginning to learn about dc characters.
1. Okay, so Ultra, you know how the whole Spidey/Uncle Ben things is kinda stale? What if Aunt May was the one who died? Kinda lead everyone to believe Ben's the victim, but have it end with Aunt May instead. That way it isn't a generic twist on his story. And maybe add Miles Morales as a best friend or something. Mix it up, like Homecoming did.
2. After the Batboy/Gwenpool story is over, Batboy leaves Gotham to form a new team, called Titans North, which includes characters like Blackfire, Rose Wilson, Pink X, and Hulkling. This is meant to be a darker version of the Teen Titans, and a concept created by the Batman. The idea is that with Batboy as their leader, they can be turned to the side of good, away from evil. And they could, I dunno, find an Infinity Stone or something.
3. Batman is exposed to the Venom symbiote. 'Nuff said.
1: omg, that's great! i just might do that.
2: which infinity stone? i think each stone should be given a lot of care, not just thrown in for the sake of introducing it besides, i've always thought it was a little weird how the stones always end up on earth. like why are they all here???
3: uhhh you do that bruv
1. Cool!
2. Because that's where Hulk is. They are trying to find their creator! But yeah, maybe yer right. Which stones have we not introduced or not planned to yet?
2. I am shocked that you do not see how epic this could be
4. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are the big three, right? But what you may not have noticed is the fact that they represent three different time eras, Wonder Woman with her mythological origins being the past, Batman's modern detective vigilante of the present, and Superman's sci-fi being-from-another-planet being from the future.
An infinity stone blasts them into three different realities.
Wonder Woman is blasted back in time to the ancient Rome era, where she must help conquer an ancient embodiment of A.I.M..
Batman remains in the present, but in a corrupt present where he never existed. No hero has ever existed. Instead, villains rule the world, and Batman must defeat their leader, an Infinity-Gauntlet-wielding version of the Joker... Well, maybe not. But he has to survive long enough to fight the leader, and he has to find his allies in this strange and foreboding world.
Superman is in a futuristic planet Earth, where everyone is just as powerful as he is. After accepting that he is no longer a "super" man, he joins the police force and fights crime like everyone else, combating criminals who have the same powers as he does. In a sort of swap, there is a super hero that protects the planet, named Superman as well. But he is far stronger than the other beings, and fights other OP villains and criminals. Superman discovers that the future Superman is actually a criminal who makes other villains and pretends to defeat them. Like the Incredibles, or that episode of the Powerpuff Girls, Major Man. So Clark has to defeat this new Superman, but how?
That last one was a tad long, but whaddayou think?
i like this, i think it would be really cool if done right! but right now we seem to be planning batman stories like warner bros with harley quinn movies () so why not combine this idea with my darkseid idea? instead of the power stone, he finds the space stone and sends them into different time periods so he can't be challenged. just to clear up any plot holes about why other heroes aren't stopping him, perhaps the avengers are disbanded after my x-men/shield thing.
That's because Batman stories are the greatest. Movies, too.
We don't need to do that last part. When Batman was being broken by Bane, where was Superman? When Superman was fighting the machine in Superman III, why wasn't Batman there to disable it? When Captain America was defeating HYDRA, where was Hulk and Iron Man? A mystery for the ages.

Then why use Batman '66?
I personally don't want to go ahead with the Batman '66 time travel thing, but it's possible Batman tried to find a new Robin after leaving the old one in the past. That Robin would be Jason Todd, who can come back later as Red Hood.
1: well with the third one being sinister six, I think it should be one of the villains from the six
2: why not daredevil
3: idk what the whole team would be yet, but there's plenty of time i'm thinking spidey, daredevil, punisher, deadpool, and two others (maybe gwenpool?)
1. Like, he formed the six to enact his revenge?
2. Uh... I dunno really
3. Why would those grim-and-gritty thugs help Spidey? They don't even like him! But if that's the way you're going, add Wolverine.
1: not necessarily, that's what happened in the comics it's just that i want to introduce all six members beforehand; we already have vulture
2: there we go
3: there is a lot of precedent in the comics for spidey teaming up with both daredevil and deadpool, and i believe punisher as well (if not then he still knows daredevil)
World War III. Over the course of a few stories, it is discovered that a secret group has been collecting blood samples from characters like Captain America and Bane. They've been using the samples to create Super Soldier Serums (SSSs). After a group of heroes and villains try to confiscate the SSSs, each alliance gets half. The villains sell their SSSs to Hydra. The villains become high-ranking leaders within Hydra, and Hydra makes armies of super soldiers. They user their armies to conquer half the planet. To counteract this, the heroes give their samples to S.H.I.E.L.D., who creates a more stable SS army. The war has begun, and the heroes and villains fight amongst the armies of Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D., vying for world domination... or world peace.
Serum ideas
S.H.I.E.L.D. Wolverine Serum (Antarctica) Captain America Serum (North America) Freeze Serum (Antartica)
Hydra Bane Serum (Russia) Deadpool Serum (Eurasia) Hulk Serum (Austrailia)
Any other ideas? 'Cuz the lineup above is only an example.

no, we wouldn't have to remove anyone there are a lot of reasons batman and robin could have an argument. besides, tim drake and damian wayne have both been robin according to your story so

2: excuse me what well, if we do the time stone with batman and the space stone with darkseid, then the ones left are mind and power.

whatever you say
correct me if i'm wrong, but superman does not exist in TDK and batman does not exist in the reeve series and i haven't rewatched phase 2 of the mcu in a while but i'm sure they were previously occupied though i guess the avengers just being busy is a perfectly acceptable excuse.

Might wanna leave that for later, but it sounds awesome.
