I don't believe there have been any references, perhaps you could... gasp, decanonize it.
Or, if we wanted to keep the story as a prequel but still make it work, we could say that it was Adam West's version of Batman but set closer to the present day (like, maybe ten years ago instead of seventy. which would actually work surprisingly well.)
now i'm imagining the other stories kicking batman '66 out of their house
Just give me a vaguely serious Batman and I'll be fine.
well my idea was that 60s batman being teleported to the present day would cause him to harden up (and robin becomes nightwing and stuff) but i currently like the idea of 60s batman actually being more recent

I don’t think you both are appreciative of the fact that I worked hard on that, and wanted to make it mean something. Now I am having you too pressure me to decanonize it. It is offensive when you really think about it.

I apologise. I don't mean that Batman 66 is bad, it's just not the kind of Batman that would work in a serious setting. Unless you can think of a way to do this, that is.
Also, I genuinely didn't have a clue you wrote it.
I'm guessing he won't until after we get to see Dormammu in his true form; maybe M.O.D.O.K and a bunch of others as well.
It's worth mentioning that in the old Infinity Gauntlet comic series, Mephisto acted as the sidekick to Thanos while secretly leading him to defeat. I bet Loki will fill in that role in Infinity War.
Spoilers. I only know him from Contest of Champions; he was a playable character along with Morningstar (which I think is another champion made by the creators of the game). I have not read the infinity gauntlet comic series so I would not know about this.

I sincerely apologize if you feel I've 'pressured you to decanonize it'. I actually love Batman '66, and want it to stay. I was simply stating it was feasible to do, if it came to that. I then offered up a different idea to make it work, which you seem to have ignored due to a simple mathematical error on my part.

I did not ignore it. I feel it is not that feasible since it is Batman ‘66. The whole schtick is it is the sixties. I thought it would be fine to go with the original idea of the Time Stone.

We did. We use the Time Stone to bring them forward in time. Batman becomes all dark and brooding. Robin becomes Nightwing. etc.

...I genuinely will not work with this.
Then you don’t have to. I have a few ideas for a modern-day Batman story in the style of The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Oops, sorry. I actually haven't read Infinity Gauntlet yet either (I need to!) I mainly know about his role because I did a lot of research for my story.
