I was actually thinking about creating something more based on ground, air and sea combat, not really space. We already have the Galaxy War RP for it. Besides, the Empire wouldn't be much of an opponent from what we see in the lore.
There were some big pirate factions emerging after the fall of the Empire and Jabba the Hutt though. One of the factions even stole a Super Star Destroyer!
Yeah, but these bands of pirates will not form the scenario I'm looking for. It'll just be the Rebellion and perhaps Imperial Remnant running around whacking pirates and eachother. I was proposing a staring contest that breaks into a fistfight between two alliances.
Also, I just realized, I should probably say this: If I am the sole individual working on making the magic system rules, we will almost certainely have magic so overpowered that everyone has to be a magician. And I will probably be the most powerful of all the magicians. If I am NOT the sole creator, just one of the creators, then I'll probably just end up ruling the RP through sheer power, but non-wizards may still have a chance. Particularily Naga, they're dangerous. . .

Yup! Extremely powerful magic stuffs. Like Black Holes and Time Travel and boiling the sun into a fiery pulp. Oh wait. . . The sun is already a fiery pulp.

I'm all for staying on the LMBE, so long as the mods will allow foreign RPs like Star Trek, streight-up Magic RP, and Doctor Who, and Cold War. If we do stay, we'll need to remodel the Retired Themes board into a Roleplay Board. That would work very well! We could even move RPs like the Chima, Star Wars, and Super Heroes RPs into it.
As for a new site, eh, it could work. Our rules, our RPs, our environment. No limits! We could use either Wiki or Proboards.
As for a foreign site, BRP or LoO, we'd have to have full cooperation from their leaders.

Also, I have an idea for our first Straight-up Magic RP: Basically, I'll be the GM (or at least, I would LIKE to the be the GM) and each person has been sucked into a strange world with the stuff on their backs, 3 magic artifacts and a spell book! survive and conquer, learn new magic or create an army of the strange beasts that lurk in this World!
Basically, it's a free-for-all RP where the GM controls what creatures you come across and how to create magical effects. You want to create a locator spell? The GM will give you 3 or 4 different types of location spell, with different ingredients. You might need to find a cauldron, or an orb of crystal. maybe you'll need Dragons blood and Great-Worm slime. Or maybe you'll need a cat's footfall and the Soul of a Dementor.

How long will that take?
Somewhere between a week and 5 months. I'm serious, I'm not sure how many Xain we've destroyed, they just seem to keep coming. And then their are those magicians we haven't so much as seen except for a glimpse by Xavic, who was captured. So yeah. . . we'll see how that goes.

So it’s like Dungeons and Dragons but with less no-magic and more magic? I’m in, if we cut down on the magic. I mean, make it less absolutely-must-have-can’t-not-do magic.
