If there's no set system of hierarchy then perhaps the main characters of the world can be of importance.
And with the Pride Lands... I guess "Mufasa" would be leading if he's not deceased. Or if we're ignoring lore then adult Simba could be on the throne?

To tell you the truth, I don't really think we should have leaders. I think it would be less complicated if each character went about on their own; obviously they'll still interact with characters from their same world, but there wouldn't need to be a hierarchy.
Yeah...I think we've pretty much wrecked the plot of the film at this point so we can probably do whatever we want. It's easier that way besides. If someone steps in and claims Simba then I definitely think he should/would rule. Otherwise...yeah. We'll figure it out.

Being honest, I think it would be more interesting if the roleplay was more character driven than going into pre-defined groups, especially for Disney universes where not a lot of characters have been taken. There could still be groups, just not necessarily ones defined forever.

I've had a right old think about it, and have come to the obvious conclusion that leaders wouldn't work in this RP. OK my minds at ease now, so onto my NPCs...
