While it's in mid-air, a white energy field appears around the Phantom Ring as White Lantern decends from the sky.

Finally a real challenge. *Sinestro fires a beam at frank, rendering him helpless. He then creates an enormous avatar around himself and charges White Lantern.*
OOC: It's a tad late now, I guess, but could he do this? I had a dome arounf me earlier that was meant to protect me, but I think that because of the small gap between that post and this, it would've still been in moderation, and Venomir wouldn'tve seen it. Are we gonna ignore the helpless part then, or just forget that I ever did that protective dome-shield-thing?
"PAIN!" Pain Bot gets out a missile launcher and fires off round after round at the pair speeding towards them as he does with twin saws outstretched rather comically.
Scratch my last post. All Batboy could get out was "Yep" before the assault.
Batboy is down. His last thought was, "If Brother Blood isn't making him do this, than what is?"

IC: Noticing that their comrade is in trouble, all of my RPCs (except for Vacuum Thief who is vacuuming up the dust of the city in a super-industrial-sized-vacuum-machine-truck-thing) begin to rally around Frank, Clayface and Psycho Pirate. Psycho Pirate now turns his emotion-manipulation powers to decreasing the fear of those in the vicinity fighting against the threats to Metropolis (so basically the heroes and myself) which emboldens them and decreases the power of Sinestro's avatar. He also increases Clayface's anger. Clayface, fueled by red fury, claims Frank's currently unused Phantom Ring and constructs a crimson igloo (with no door, it's just a protective dome) around them, making the bricks at least a meter (3 1/3 feet) thick. Clayface makes a small hole in the direction of Sinestro and leaves a brick out in the direction of the rest of the fight. He begins shooting bricks out at Thanos, Dark Phoenix, Dr. Doom and Darkseid and then replacing the bricks. The Talon throws knives at them as well through the hole of the brick left by Clayface. Pyro uses the hole in the direction of Sinestro to shoot a stream of flames and then control it to attack his avatar from behind. It has a particular interest in his ring-hand. (OOC: Sorry, this is quite a long post, I just had to get control of all of my characters.)

OOC: Its a phantom ring... IC: Sinestro feels his power failing. He falls to the ground, his avatar broken. As the combined forces of death, hope, and anger envelope him, he screams before parallax leaves his body for space. Darkseid calls up his ship, and the rest of the villains, battle-weary, escape the battle leaving Thanos behind to fend for himself, the rest going to apokolips.
