Indeed. The Dark Empire was so stupid. And honestly, why did he name it the Galaxy Gun? That is the worst name for a superweapon ever.
How's your knowledge of the Yuuzhan Vong War?
I agree. And keeping a planet destroying gun in orbit around a planet is just asking for disaster. And Luke becoming Palpatine's apprentice?! No! He's Luke Skywalker! The Jedi like his father before him! He'll never turn to the Dark Side! Sure, it wasn't permanent, but even so, no.
Not so good. I've never read any of the Yuuzhan Vong War comics or books, so my knowledge of it comes just from reading the wiki and references to it in other books. It doesn't sound that appealing to me, though it sounds better than Dark Empire. What's your opinion of it?
To be honest, I'm more of a Timothy Zahn fan than an EU fan in general, although there are many other good books.
Have you read any of the new EU? I haven't.
Well, the Death Star II was in orbit around a planet moon and we didn't think that was stupid.
I haven't read any of the books, but I have borrowed the Essential Chronology and the Essential Atlas from my library so I am decently learned in that area. I don't really want to read the New Jedi Order books just because the Yuuzhan Vong race is probably the most ruthless, vicious, bloodthirsty thing I've ever seen in a fictional universe. They're definitely worse than Orcs, even if they share some of the same facial features.
Timothy Zahn is far and away the best Star Wars author. None of the other books come close to the perfection that was Heir to the Empire.
I haven't read any of it besides what's on the Wiki.
I'm not how many people here know just how big of a deal this is, but German scientists managed to get a piece of ceramic to become a superconductor at room temperature for a few millionths of a millisecond.
Not very impressive for now, but it gives high hopes for the future.
One does not simply "guess" that they are a geek. Geeks use proper grammar if at all possible and never, ever use texting abbreviations. Fix this behavior or get out.
