A spaceship on the outskirts of Gotham, where it uses cloaking technology to blend in as a small house. Inside Eric listens to a news channels speaking of the crime and destruction ever present in the city, and readies his katana. With a single swing a rip is torn in time and space, energy crackling around the flashy portal, ready to transport him into the city. Eric steps through...
... Into a Italian restaurant. He doesn't remember the last time he had modern human food. Randomly traveling through time and space meant that it was a bit hard to sit down for a good slice of pepperoni pizza.
OOC: Hate to be that guy but no news channels or Italian Restaurants would be operating during a city-wide blackout.
OOC: Back up generators and all that would (probably) still work, so there might be one or two radio stations.
IC: Eric is displeased with the service of the restaurant. No electricity doesn't mean no pizza. Humans existed hundreds of years without electricity, and they still were able to make pizza during all that time. He grabs a couple of the free mints available, and walks through Gotham to find another suitable restaurant.

After failing to do so, Eric opens a portal back to his spaceship and makes a simple peanut butter sandwich. Afterwards he dons his helmet and speakers, and Space Samurai walks out onto the street to defeat some villains. He pulls out his flashlight as it is quite dark without electricity, and everybody knows that villains hide in the shadows.

After sending some villains to jail with his portal opening sword, Space Samurai goes to the grocery store to pick up some groceries. He had used the last of his peanut butter in his sandwich, and he was out of bagels and cereal for breakfast.

OOC: This guy seems almost as hungry as the Vacuum Thief! Maybe we could work together a little...
