Storyline Idea
Alright, ladies and gents, listen up. I've got a huge idea, and I need imput. It will put the entire SHaRP into focus.
But before I tell you that story, I need to tell you this one.
My name is Drake Cahill. I am a fictional character. I am also someone else, who isn't a fictional character, and I won't share his name.
I've been through a lot. My home planet was the source of a multi-dimensional war, I journeyed through a medieval world fighting monsters, I ended up alone in a city with incredible powers, I found a world where a diabolical plant-metal hybrid was trying to take over the world, I met a bunch of creatures called Droplings and found them in inside-out planet to live in, I assembled heroes to sav a multiverse and battled evil venomous plants with a souped-up machete.
I've had a lot of experience with this sort of thing.
So it all comes down to this: I am Drake Cahill. But I am also a real person.
I am also Marvin Elliot, and Jana Jones.
Think of all fiction as a single multiverse. All possabilities, what-ifs, alternate endings, potential storylines, told and hidden, present and future, etc. etc. in one multiverse, which is like a universe, except you substitute galaxies with universes. And make it bigger.
This multivers, or how I've dubbed it, the Fictiverse, is controlled by three entities.
The Entity of Good, aka Drake Cahill.
The Entity of Balance, aka Jana Jones.
The Entity of Evil, aka Marvin Elliot.
While Jana's been off doing who-knows-what, me and Marv have had multiple confrontations, eventually ending with me banishing him to the Nothing, the pocket of black, empty reality between Reality and Fiction.
Me and Marv first met when we recieved many of our abilities. We both recieved all the powers from al the entities of two different dimensions.
Mine, of course, being Drake Cahill, came from the DC Universe. I am a mixture of species, including Kryptonian, Amazonian, New God, Human, Martian, god (as in Zeus and Trident), Demon, Parademon, etc. etc. I can shapeshift, solve any problem, shoot laser eyes, stretch myself to incredible lengths, fly, punch, and more. I wield a gauntlet that allows me to create hard-light images, deflect bullets, wield a lasso that makes people tell the truth, and more.
I wield every power in the DC Universe.
Marvin Elliot recieved his abilities from a different universe. Think about it. MARVin ELliot. Yep, my old buddy old pal has every ability in the MARVEL universe. Strength, speed, agility, smarts, as well as the unusual, like control of a certain hammer, intangibility, telekinesis, optic blasts, metal bones and claws, freaking Dark Phoenix- and Thanos-level kablooie.
HIS gauntlet features and vibranium shield, a certain hamer, five Infinity Stones (the stones that resultes from the creation of the Fictiverse, mind you), an unfoldable armor (including te 2099 armor), and more.
Marv has every power in the MARVEL Universe.
We both think Jana has a similar set of powers, but she won't spill. Makes us curious.
Now we've got the powers down, let's talk duties. We're Watchers, basically. Forbidden to interfere in major ways.
In minor ways, we influence certain characters to either be good, evil, or balanced. We make people do bad things, other people stop those people, etc.
In some circumstances, like back in 2015 when Marv unleashed a great evil into the LEGO Multiverse, we would interfere in major ways, like unleashing a great evil into the LEGO Multiverse and assembling heros to protect it.
Our personalities also reflect our duties. I believe that a unified world under a single good leader is the only way the world could truly be perfect. Conformity for peace.
Marv believes in no leadership, no government, everybody does what THEY think is right. No rules. Do what you want, when you want. Chaos.
Jana believes in a balance. Let the people be free, under a government. Psh. Yeah, look what heppened to America, sister. They elected THAT guy? Seriously.
We all think we're right, and that the others are wrong. This creates conflict. The conflict reflected al over the Fictiverse.
Now that I've told you that story, I can tell you this story.
What we have here in SHaRP is a world of both DC and MARVEL locations, with a myriad of heroes and villains.
Essentially, we are allowing the Prime versions of these characters. Batman Prime, Superman Prime, Captain America Prime, Iron Man Prime, etc. Prime versions of certain locations, like New York and Gotham.
But, of course, we would like to allow other versions of these characters in the roleplay, right? I'm saying LEGO Batman, 1940's Superman, 1602 Captain America aka Rojhaz, Iron Man from the show Armored Adventures.
All of these possabilities couldn't exist in this reality without a solid explanation.
Put short? All of these characters are in stasis. Everyone has their own containment capsule in a massive planet-sized fortress made of a special crystal. A single entity, aka Entity (
), watches over all of them.
The worlds. Primarily Earth. All of these locations appear frequently, cities, towns, monuments, etc. They just flat-out appear, because the Entity puts them there.
The Entity also allows heroes and villains to leave stasis and be placed into the universe.
In a nutshell, the Entity shapes the world of the roleplay.
So, OOC, when you don't want to use an RPC anymore, IC, the character is summoned and returned to stasis. When, OOC, a user wants a new RPC, the character, IC, is sent down by the Entity.
Get the picture?
Well, if this goes over well, then we can go a step further and have an epic storyline:
Marvin Elliot appears. He can be played by whoever wants the job, but they have to be fit for the position, which is why I'm thinking either Darth Venomir, Junior, or Ciar.
Anywho, Marv corrupts the Entity. The Entity begins abusing his power and sends dark forces to dominate the roleplay world.
Me, DC, also appears in the roleplay world. Of course, I cannot influence in any major ways. But I can act as a sort of compass to direct the heroes on the right path.
How do the heroes save the day? I have no idea.
So, that's my second idea. Let's review:
>The Entity
>Entity's Corruption
>Alternate Reality Packs
Oop, I added the third one already.
Anyway, Alternate Reality Packs. Characters and Locations.
Essentially, we take an alternate reality. Say, the '66 Batman TV show reality.
All of the Packs would have specific "call signs", or "tags", or something like that.
For example, the '66 Pack. '66 would come before all of the new characters and locations in that pack, like '66 Batman (Bruce Wayne) or '66 Gotham City. In other cases, it would be E-1 or E-77, for Earth-1 and Earth-77. It may even be something else.
Anyway, the '66 Pack would include alternate versions of specific characters and locations, and maybe even some new ones.
'66 Pack
RPCs:
'66 Batman (Bruce Wayne)
'66 Robin (Dick Grayson)
'66 Batgirl (Barbara Gordon)
'66 The Green Hornet (Britt Reed)
'66 Kato (Kato)
'66 The Joker (Cesar Romero)
'66 The Penguin (Oswald Cobblepot)
'66 Catwoman (Selina Kyle)
'66 The Riddler (Edward Nigma)
NPCs:
'66 Commissioner Gordon
'66 Chief O'Hara
'66 Alfred Pennyworth
'66 Aunt Harriet
'66 Lenore Case
'66 Frank Scanlon
'66 Mike Axford
Headquarters:
'66 Batcave
'66 Britt Reed's Mansion
Cities:
'66 Gotham City
'66 Los Angeles
Locations:
'66 Wayne Manor
'66 Gordon's Office
'66 Gotham Docks
'66 The Daily Sentinel
We can apply this to several realities. We prepare the Pack in the RCC, and when it's ready, we release it into the roleplay, by allowing the RPCs to be claimed and posting the locations.
Everything that belongs to the Prime Pack doesn't have Prime before it.
So, that's it. Share your opinions and thoughts. Thanks.
