I assumed the tigress part was something to do with your love for cats but that's all I got.
Kinda close, but honestly, the reason is so obscure that you'd have to have broken into my house and rummaged through forgotten old notebooks and computer video files to figure out the reason behind the name.

"Lord Tigress" -- or, Lord Tigris, as it was originally spelled the Latin way, but my memory's awful -- was originally a villain character I had written when I was younger; an evil queen with magic powers who kept two large and fierce tigers as pets. Apparently I didn't know what the "lord" title meant at the time, but I thought it sounded cooler than "queen", so that's why she sounds like a nobleman instead of a tyrant queen. I liked the character and the name so much, I used her name again for a series of short films we made for fun later. I wanted something quirky for a username on the Lego Message Boards, and I thought about my favorite villain -- thus I decided to name myself after her. I've used that name for everywhere in the internet else since then, because I find that I like being Tigress very much. :3

Not many, probably mostly "Big Four/Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons* (and similar crossover) fans I guess? It was probably also because of the supposed "death" of PIXAL in season 3; I really thought she was gone for good.
Yeah, except you don't just jump, you can also slide to avoid obstacles from above, and it also has a lot different characters to choose from, colorful visuals, and an HP bar.
