You can’t just pretend that this is Pirates of the Caribbean. Come up with something original, like, say, Captain Swagger of The Merchant of Venice, or something.
Y’know what, I’m taking that. I give up Spain, or the Dutch, or whoever I was aligned with. I am now Captain Swagger of The Merchant of Venice. A pirate.

soo close to finish, just a couple more things, here is our map (plz let through staff) I'm thinking this: Britian: Jamaica France: Haiti spain: cuba or Dominican republic dutch: st martin? Pirate base: trininbad so if we followed that the rest of the islands will have to be claimed by having a port on them, they can be split, like haiti and DR are. new nes would be claimed by ports, unless someone built a port on island at same time. more coming later!!
If we wanted new nations we can create them. thoughts?

Would we be able to take control of coastal areas in South and Central America? Also, pirates shouldn’t have one base. They shouldn’t even have a base really. They should just be allowed to drift from island to island. Maybe some pirate controlled ports could emerge, which could be interesting.
