Snow Leopard Kingdom: Ice HQ We are the creators of the Ice Chi, and the ancient enemies of the evil dragons.
Prologue/Origin Story:
Before the Great Earthquake 2,000 years ago, Chima's climate was desperately unbalanced; forest fires spread across the land, while extremely freezing temperatures started to make other regions uninhabitable. Because of these conditions, the dragons and snow leopards were brought into existence by nature itself to balance heat and cold. The dragons were gifted control over fire, while the snow leopards were gifted power over ice. Working together, the 2 ancient tribes made Chima's climate balanced; fire and ice existed alongside each other in harmony for 1,000 years. However, 1,000 years ago, when the energies fell back to the surface, turned the water into chi (see Turtle HQ prologue), and caused Mount Cavora to rise into the sky, the other animals were evolved. The many species of Chima used the chi to make themselves strong. When the Dragon King realized that this would enable all the animals in Chima to be as powerful as the dragons and snow leopards, he couldn't accept that. To make sure the dragons were still viewed as gods by the other species, the Dragon King combined the fallen energies with his own power, creating Fire Chi. The dragons began aggressively attacking the other tribes to "show them who's boss" as the Dragon King would say. The dragon army even began attacking the snow leopards to prove themselves as the most powerful tribe. Shocked at this betrayal, the snow leopards created Ice Chi so we would be as powerful as the dragons again. After battling them, we eventually managed to freeze the dragons in an icy tome, and they've remained frozen for 1,000 years, while we continue to be the protectors of Chima's inhabitants.
HQ Layout:
At the snow capped top of Chima's highest mountain (besides Cavora), far up in the icy northern regions, the Snow Leopard Castle is located. Its exterior and interior appearance is that of a standard medieval castle. Many freeze turrets are mounted on the walls, and the castle's drawbridge is coated in icicles that can be shot through the holes at attackers. Contrary to expectations, the castle is not made entirely out of ice, and has strong stone walls. However, ice does line the fortress, both on the inside and the outside. There are many flags on the towers and walls, bearing the symbol of the Snow Leopard Tribe. Inside the castle's 2nd reinforced wall is a courtyard; in the middle of the courtyard is a large pool where the Ice Chi is created. The king's huge throne is made of ice, and parts of it are draped in golden cloth printed with ancient symbols.

As such, he has written many books (The History of Chima, volumes 1-7, among other books) that have been read by lots of Chima's inhabitants. King Leonardo is a just and fair ruler; he believes that all animals are created equal, and that they all deserve chi, as long as they use it well and wisely. This is why Leonardo will gift Ice Chi to any good-intentioned animal who climbs the mountain seeking it. Backstory: Leonardo was created along with the rest of the first-generation snow leopards over 2,000 years ago. He was chosen to lead the snow leopards after debating among others for leadership of the tribe. However, only 2 years after being elected, it became clear to Leonardo and the other snow leopards that a democratic system was not working out for the tribe at all; so, with the quick agreement of the others, Leonardo turned it into a monarchy. He became King of the snow leopards, and his Vice President became the Steward.
And meanwhile, the Flygon Tribe is still spreading their territory to neighboring tribes, the Snakes do too in allied response. No seriously, is ANYBODY gonna join my tribe?
