OoC: Also, what if Mega Evolution had some drawbacks? Like, maybe they act more like Pokemon and only say their own names for the duration? (For example, Aurelie would only say "Audino" until she turns back, where she would be able to speak in full sentences again.) Some of the more aggressive Pokemon could also go berserk I guess? More a possibility than a given, though; otherwise, they probably wouldn't do it on purpose.
If it helps, here's Mega Audino's "Pokedex entry" from the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire website (via the Wayback Machine): "Mega Audino emits a soothing pulse from its body that reduces hostility in others. This powerful pulse calms any who come in range. Additionally, any creature that happens to come in contact with its second feelers will fall into a deep sleep."

I think the way Pokemon act in Mega form would probably depend on the species. Like, one would go savage but be extremely powerful if it was, say, a Gyarados, but something like an Audino would probably be, like, a bit more mischievous at worst (considering it gets the Fairy-type when it Mega Evolves). Mega Audino would probably be a bit more merciful toward dragons than, say, a Sylveon though. (Obviously; Sylveon are notoriously merciless toward dragons. The FLA would be terrified just to see a glimpse of a ribbon behind a bush.) I would imagine Mega Audino would rather calm a dragon, maybe put it to sleep, than...brutally destroy it.
Here are some ideas of what Mega Evolution may do to Pokemon in that form-
Several Pokemon, such as Glalie and Houndoom, would be in pain, which would subside upon devolving; however, that pain is an exchange for tremendous power. The pain may cause the Mega-Evolved Pokemon to act recklessly and do things it wouldn't normally do.
A Pokemon may become more animalistic (Pokemon-istic?), such as reverting to saying its name/making animal sounds and reverting to behaviors it had as a Pokemon. (For example, Mega Lucario's instincts are awakened, making it a merciless fighter.)
It is possible for a Mega Evolved Pokemon to expend too much power, in which case it becomes tired or even faints, usually upon devolving.
Some dislike being in this form; for example, Absol hates fighting and feels bad for innocent people it has shocked with its fearsome aura.
Behavioral changes with typing changes, possibly? For example, Audino and Altaria gain the Fairy type, so they could act more whimsical somehow, and not be quite as wary of dragons? Still kindhearted, but there could be some sort of fairylike trait they possess upon Mega Evolving. (Mega Altaria are said to be very friendly, which fits with how fluffy they are xD)
On an unrelated note, imagine Pokemon characters that do not fit their species at all. Like a jerk (or even malevolent and vicious) Audino or Blissey, or a sweet and kindhearted Gyarados. Or like, a fearful Braviary or something, without changing alignment.
Todd: I was found by our friend Adam -that reckless bird that ran past you before we got here- when he was just a Rowlet, a little older than me. I'd been living out in the wild, living off the Berries that grew on the trees and such. I knew how to defend myself. -He chuckles.- I actually...probably tried to faint him when I first met him, I was that on edge. Adam took me in to his good friend Bob, who's taken care of me ever since. I guess you could say he's sorta my dad?
Aurelie: Sweetie... -She approaches Malvasia. Her expression looks genuine.- You're very stressed right now. I don't have to hear your heartbeat to tell. -She touches Malvasia with her right feeler.- You should rest. I'll see if I can make you some herbal tea or something. That should calm your nerves.
Todd: Aurelie...why are you so nice?
Aurelie: Wouldn't you be kind if you realized how your actions made other people feel?
Todd: Oh, I see. Anyway...Malva- er...mother, what in Chima could have happened to force you to give me up? -He says "mother" like it's a foreign word to him.-
-That touch from Aurelie instantly began calming her, the large naga woman sighed and mellowed out, soon eyeing Todd-
Malvasia: "I-i'm... i-i must thank this Adam... Otherwise..." -she'd said, casually picking up the snivy and hugging him tightly- "...i would have never seen my own son before me!"
-soon the bonding time was a bit interrupted by some loud STOMPing beginning to swell up from a rather large double door, the icy floors trembling from those stomps. Malvasia perked up and turned to those large frosted-over wood doors, soon seeing them slowly creak open to reveal the main woman that runs this place, the very large and impending Kyuru Koldheart herself... only this time... er... she's just woken up, having overslept, not in a rush due to her cold slow nature, she was walking slowly towards another set of double doors that was her closet entrance across the large cavernous hallway. All hunched over too. Malvasia gasped when she noticed Kyuru and Covered her child's eyes, Todd only getting a small glimpse of Kyuru before Malvasia made a VERY angry Serperior cry at her.-
-The legendary barrier dragon stopped, and slowly turned twoards her, tilting her head in confusion with a tired-but-curious look on her, all of it done slowly but surely-
Malvasia: "FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS, PUT A BLANKET AROUND YOU OR SOMETHING!!! WE HAVE VISITORS!!!" -she'd shrieked out loudly- "WHOSE BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT TO PUT YOUR CLOSET ACROSS THE HALLWAY TO YOUR CHAMBERS?!!"
-Kyuru looked at her serpent advisor and her expression went to a "did i really do that?" look before shrugging and continuing on her way to her closet, not like they could really see much of anything with ice and snow covering most of her body when she sleeps, literal blankets and sheets made of snow and slush she has covering her bed, so it often sticks to her body.-
-The large frosted wooden closet doors of ornate design close gently as she entered into that dressing room, and Malvasia sighed, exasperated and groaned, uncovering Todd's eyes-
Malvasia: "S-sorry you had to hear that, dear Todd... taking care of a legendary is sometimes hard work, not even our mythical friend of a Victini can keep up!"
Aurelie shoves her hands into her ears as Malvasia screams at Kyuru, a look of pure pain on her face.
Todd: Mother! You just screamed into the ear of an Audino! Their ears are extremely sensitive, you know!
Aurelie: -Her voice a bit weary, yet raised in volume slightly due to her somewhat blocked hearing.- It's not just that...
-Aurelie shakily removes her hands and heaves a sigh, then turns around with a jolt as she notices Kyuru.-
Aurelie: My queen! -She bows down as a sign of respect.- Excellent timing. I know our first meeting didn't quite go well, but I want to know if you know anything about... -she fishes her camera from her bag and shows the picture to Kyuru- ....this.
-The picture is of a wall of shimmering ice, a marble-like object gleaming in its center, just barely sticking out. Upon closer inspection, the object is pale pink in color, with a wave of cream and a darker pink in the center. A Mega Stone. An Audinite. The only known Mega Stone of the Unova Region.-
Aurelie: I found it as I was coming in. I didn't want to risk attempting to pull it out without your consent, as that could damage it and then I feel you may be terribly angry... -She winces a bit in her current aural pain, but holds it together.- I think it's an Audinite, and I'm an Audino...oh, how selfish I am to want such a thing...
Todd: It's OK. If there were a Serperiorite I'd want it too.
-the Male Inkling kept looking at that screen, longingly for any quip or saying... but nothing, the old plaza was probably abandoned for a good reason, little to nobody was here, the stores having been boarded up and abandoned, left to rot. Alot can change in a few years indeed...-
"There's no... life here, anymore. Nothing. it was so bright and colorful some years ago... why did Callie and marine go their separate ways? My agents before me... they were... an interesting couple. Not blood-related sisters but Cousins... i wonder whom their parents were, realizing how much potential those two had." -he'd said, casually walking across the mossy blacktop away from the grafiti'ed and broken plaza sign, grass growing well between cracks of concrete and blacktop.-
"It's such a gloomy abandoned area, nobody would go here anymore, everyone had moved away, do trends always do this? Sucking life and energy out of one single thing and once it had ran it's course, it's left to die and wither away. I was the only inkling whom dressed modestly outside of my hero suit, i didn't scream color like everyone else when i was young and here. Nobody knew i was an agent of the Squidbeak, well, until i met one particular octoling gal... man having my mind hijacked by some crazy machine made by something many thousands of years ago. Don't want THAT to happen again..." -he'd shrug and soon began to walk away from this plaza, off in the direction of the more lively Inkopolis square. He checked his well-dressed suit's watch and noticed the time, 10:00 sharp.-
"Aw carp, ...late again?! Ugh got lost in my own thoughts for too long, Mr. Grizz, go easy on me and forgive me, im the only full-time employee you have here..." -he'd sighed in a defeated tone, before quickly squidding and superjumping his way back to the Square-
A somewhat accented female voice sounds behind him. "Hello, Th- uh...what...what is your name?" In all the time she'd been with him, she had never asked his real name, being contented with "Three" for so long.
-having landed in the square, the Inkling man grunted and turned round to see a... all too famiiliar face.-
"W-woah there! Don't sneek up on me like that! You might get flattened by my roller! And, sorry, i got no time for chitchat, that Fishing boat's gonna leave without me!" -he'd said, he may talk to her later after his shift, he was in a rush to get off to work, sprinting head-long into the Grizzco shack-
-Though that man was the same person that saved her and the Cap'n's lives, he was... fairly different that what she thought he would act like.-
-That touch from Aurelie instantly began calming her, the large naga woman sighed and mellowed out, soon eyeing Todd-

-well, she was in her dressing room, so the Audino was most likely talking to a giant door and Kyuru couldn't hear a word thats said by her, as if the poor Audino couldn't get enough hearing damage, a loud hissing SHREIK of cold icy proportions was heard followed by a ghastly moan, before the door suddenly is thrown open, smacking the audino across the floor like a hockey puck, bouncing off the adjacent wall, and slid right back to the group, Kyuru's head peeked out behind the door and she looked VERY angry-
"Wwwwhhhoooo tooooook-" -inhale- "-mmmmmyyyyy gooooowwwwnnnnnn...?!" -she'd hissed out coldly and steadily, it wasn't as loud as it sounded, but sounded very ethereal and echoy.-
-Malvasia gasped and panicked-
Malvasia: "O-oh d-dear! I-is i-it still in the wash?!" -she'd squeaked quietly before she began RACING down the hall- "V-VVVVIIIIIIC!!! Y-YOU LEFT HER GOWN IN THE WAAAAASSHH!!" -she'd race off, slithering full tilt to find this Victini-
-However, a panicked Victini cry was heard behind the group and coming blazing outta nowhere, flying over their heads-
Vic Vektor: "I-I GOT IT!!! I GOT IT YOU'RE ICYNESS!!!" -the Orange-track-suit-wearing, pot-bellied, four-eyes, and frankly overall nerdy-looking Victini was flying full tilt, his wings flapping as fast as they can, as he held the Elsa-looking dress neatly folded in his hands, and it was pretty large compared to him as his body was mostly covered by the large clothing article. He'd soon stopped gently at the head of the Large ice dragon woman and presented her large gown before her, Kyuru calmly took it in her slow nature and patted the Victini on the head with one of her large cold claws before pulling herself back into the dressing room, the door creaking closed once more.-
-Poor Aurelie, can't get a break can she?-
-Vic Vektor breathed a sigh of relife- Vic: "Oh th-thank Arceus, i wouldn't wanna thaw out Malvasia after a Glaciation! Arano can do that, not me!"
-The balie oricorio growled-
Sir Arano: "AYE!!! Those are fighting words!"
Vic: "Shaddup you bird brain!" -he'd then noticed the hurting Audino, Todd, and the others- "Oh great... visitors... just what this castle needed..."

Aurelie: -comically bitter- I hope you got a lot of EXP from that.
Todd: A little note for the future- try to be a little quieter from now on as to prevent excruciating pain in a big pink radar rabbit.
Aurelie: I'll probably be covering my ears a lot, won't I...? (I guess that's the curse of being an Audino in a giant castle of ice.) Anyway, my name is Aurelia Lightfeeler, and that's Todd.

Aurelie: I go by Aurelie, Aurie, Lili, Annie, Ears...
Todd: I go by Todd. Yeah, that's it. Don't really have anything else, unless you wanna call me "Toddster" or "Lil' T"...

"A bit on edge, isn't he?" she muttered in Octarian. "Maybe I'll work at Grizzco for a bit too." The Octoling girl follows Three into the Grizzco shack.
"Welcome back, kid," the voice on the bear-shaped intercom greets her as she steps inside.
She nods and goes to get changed and get onto the boat; she got there quickly enough that she happens to be on the same boat as Three. She looks out at the water. "The water is always very dirty. Do these fish not ever become sick from this?" She turns to Three. "It is a bit funny that I have climbed the same boat as you...um...are in. Do you not think so?" She looks a bit shy. "Are you...irritable? Shall I be quiet?"
OoC: Her Inkling isn't quite as broken, she's worked on it a bit, but it's still a lil' wonky, think Looker
IC: *One of the salmonids on deck looks at another ship. Then he does a double-take as he notices the animals armed to the teeth swarming up the hull of the battleship.*
-the Salmonids on deck began to sound alarms that these native are anything but freindly, they instantly began to start emergency battle procedures as plenty of armed chums with their Flintlocke Slime Chargers began to attack, King Privateer Aurelius notices the small disturbance and growls-
Aurelius: "Natives... always the savages..." -he'd growled, gesturing twoards them.- "...we'll civilize them properly." -he'd growled before turning to his officers- "Begin making Colonization procedures effective immediately! We're already on their shorelines, We might as well make landfall, i bet these fools will give out once we get our boots on the ground!"
IC: *The animals board and begin hacking and blasting salmonids. They attack much more aggressively and viciously than the salmonids. The big one who seems to be the leader laughs manially as he cuts down and shoots salmonids.*
-soon Sven pops out behind the wall with these new clothing on- "Okay, sire, i am ready to be taken to your place, d-do make haste, sir!" -The Salmonid man quickly scurries up to the Inkling-

OOC: I think the only problem would be if a Pokémon with fire or ice powers mega evolved, since it would kind of throw off the power scaling in the Fanon RP universe. The Dragons are supposed to be the only beings with notably dangerous fire powers (until/unless their fire chi is eventually stolen) which is why they’re a threat to Chima. Ice powers, on the other hand, are limited to the Snow Leopards, anyone who earns ice chi, and the... Ice-Type Pokémon, but they’ve been lumped in with Kyuru’s faction, which is considered one of the Ice Tribes along with the SL. (Are there actually any Ice-Type Pokémon? It’s been some time since I’ve played a Pokémon game.)
So, only fire chi can truly effectively combat the SL/Ice Tribes (and ice chi, the Dragons) or so it’s been established (though note that the Ice Tribes are more like the protectors of Chima in this RP, while the Fire Tribes are the antagonistic invaders), so that’s the problem with powerful Fire-Type Pokémon existing in Chima, which I hadn’t considered until now.
Then again, no one has made a Fire-Type Pokémon RPC yet, so we could say; (A) No Fire-Types in Chima, (B) A Fire-Type Pokémon, even when Mega Evolved, is not as powerful as the Dragons and SL, (C) The Fire-Type Pokémon of Chima are collectively an ally of the Dragons, as one of two Fire Tribes (TheFirstDecade?), or (D) Fire-Type Pokémon can’t be introduced to the RP until a long time from now, after the initial shock of the Dragons’ invasion, and after the elemental sides become evenly matched (much like how in the main RP, we now have fire and ice powered characters who aren’t allied with the original elemental factions).
B seems the most nonsensical to me (which is why I was saying the power scaling could get confusing with Mega Evolution), so maybe C or D would be best.
...I probably spent way too much time thinking about this.

OoC: "I hope you got a lot of EXP from that" is something I sort of remark in my head when something faints my Audino. Also, Todd does not like to be called "Toddster" or "Lil' T."
Then again, no one has made a Fire-Type Pokémon RPC yet, so we could say; (A) No Fire-Types in Chima, (B) A Fire-Type Pokémon, even when Mega Evolved, is not as powerful as the Dragons and SL, (C) The Fire-Type Pokémon of Chima are collectively an ally of the Dragons, as one of two Fire Tribes (TheFirstDecade ?), or (D) Fire-Type Pokémon can’t be introduced to the RP until a long time from now, after the initial shock of the Dragons’ invasion, and after the elemental sides become evenly matched (much like how in the main RP, we now have fire and ice powered characters who aren’t allied with the original elemental factions).
B seems the most nonsensical to me (which is why I was saying the power scaling could get confusing with Mega Evolution), so maybe C or D would be best.
...I probably spent way too much time thinking about this.
OoC: Maybe Fire-types have to be Fire-Dragon.
Yeah, there are tons of Ice-types! Glaceon, Froslass, Snom, Jynx, Cubchoo, Alolan Vulpix, shall I go on?

Technically, TFD has a Victini and a Baile Oricorio, but they're allied with an Ice-type...
Let's see... -Aurelie and Love are Normal-type (Normal-Fairy as a Mega if the Mega Stone is obtained) -Billie is Psychic-Normal -Todd is Grass -Adam is Grass-Flying -Hikaru is Electric (I mean, he's a Pikachu) -Allen is Normal
Also, I believe Fighting and Steel are also supereffective against Ice. Maybe someone needs to introduce some Fighting types? (Ice, Fairy, and Dragon are all supereffective against Dragon.)
