Othaurus stops his speedor in a place far, far to the south, where no vegetation grows.
Othaurus: “Alright, let’s get to work.”
The octoling/octopus sits down on the black earth and begins to modify the ink absorption device he’d bought in Inkopolis, using tools and strange materials borrowed from his ally, Saleem al-Yousif.
(OOC: Ah i needed that recap as to whats goin on here! Thanks! And that Roo was actually dropping in to say hi, and now that he's here, he may wanna test out the actual combat ability of this mech since it is going to be the Kangaroo tribe's flagship land vehicle soon. Anyway, ignore any reference to the snow leopards i put in there.leopards i said. You're free to reply to the action now.)
IC: Turtle General: “The Kangaroos? Your timing is... pretty good. Don’t touch the ice chi; you’ll freeze if you do. Surround the piranha squad here; create a barrier of people and vehicles to trap these piranhas, while we freeze them. It looks like the Duchess herself is leading this squad, based on how that female piranha is dressed. Assuming she isn’t a decoy, we can’t pass up on this opportunity to capture such a high-ranking piranha.”
Meanwhile, Tyron and his squad move out from their crashed helicopter, freezing every on-foot piranha that gets in their way, but the piranha fang ripper tanks are making it hard to get to Pirex, forcing Tyron and his turtles into cover as the small, speedy tanks blast and slash at them. The Piranha King watches this through a telescope as he commands his army.
OOC: I assume Ppyrr is still disguised as a regular piranha soldier, batonmaster500 ?
Tyron and his squad get close to Pirex’s amphibious land and sea tank/flagship, but keep having to pull back to dodge the blades of the fang ripper tanks.
Pirex: “Heh-heh-hah-hah-hah-hah-haaaah!!! The old bag of bones really thinks he’ll be able to capture ME, like he did Piratox?! All while trying to block my people from taking the Ice Trials, a legal right of any species, regardless of allegiance... And he thinks he’s the righteous one here?! HAH! Imagine being that deluded!! The only reason those Snow Leopards aren’t charging down here and freezing the Turtles for this offense, is because you’re just barely outside of their territory!”
Tyron: “This may not seem fair, but I can’t let you obtain ice chi, Pirex. War isn’t fair, after all, and you were the ones who initiated this war. Your attempted destruction of my people cannot continue.”
The zombie’s red cape billows as he whirls on his command platform to face Tyron.
Pirex: “I think you have it backwards, Your Highness. YOU were the ones who destroyed our city, and forced us into exile twenty years ago.”
Tyron: “You gave us no other choice.”
Pirex: “But don’t you see, Tyron? Now there is another choice; an alternative, as I’ve realized. If both sides had ice chi, we could end the war with no more casualties. You Turtles will pay for what you’ve wrought upon the Piranhas, but you won’t have to pay with your lives. Once I’ve frozen you all, I’ll freeze any other opposition, and thus conquer Chima... with not a single death in the process, using powers my people earned, fair and square. With ice chi, I’ll even rid Chima of whatever alien abomination is creating the inter-dimensional portals! Then, there will be peace. Oh, and if others view me as ‘tyrannical’, or if they get tired of my leadership, they can freeze me and take my place. Maybe my successor will choose to forgive and thaw out the Turtles; that’s their choice to make. That is the true way to obtain power, by seizing it fairly, not through royal birthright, or being ‘elected’ by people who’ll just use you as their puppet!”
The Piranhas, motivated further by Pirex’s speech, push harder to break through the barricade.
-Pihana growls and soon charges at Pedro- "GAAAHH YOU DUNDERHEEEAAAAD!!!"
-insert her casually tackling him and whaling and clawing at the poor fellow fish as the marsupial mech approaches the duke and duchess' direction rather quickly...-
OOC: But... that's the one that didn't happen. =P Are you making it the one that did happen? =P
(OOC: At this points the snakes are sadly gonna have to take the L on this one since Sa'Qhala had left.) -at this point, any snakes whom were more smarter than the others quickly threw down their weapons and many companies had raised white flags of surrender, if anything, they were going to have to accept their new leader and whatever terror he may turn on them. Sa'Qhala was long gone by now, sure Saleem couldn't have gotten her, but she may end up in his possession sooner or later by another faction outside of the FLA...
batonmaster500 -Back on board of a main flagship airship, on the bridge, Owlina was mortified at what her men's actions have caused, not to mention the cowardice the snake leadership had posed to not fight to the bitter end, the Pygmy owl Queen was fighting back tears as to what had just happened-
Owlina: "N-no! Th-this c-can't be the end of this desert alliance! Th-this can't be! Why did Sa'Qhala and Flygarra abandon us?!"

IC: "I don't know, my queen. I don't know"
Owlina: "But where could they be?! We may be next to be overtaken by some rogue faction now!"
-By now the FLA flygons have long since left the battle due to their morbid fear of Ice, but as the residual Pygmy owls and snakes from the FLA keep fighting, they were losing numbers real quick and they seemed they were going to give up at any moment.-
-meanwhile above, the Kangaroo pilot looks over and pulls up binoculars to take a nice good loooong look at Pihana below, he had a cheeky grin and looked back at the general- "Aye she's a beaut~, you wouldn't wanna waste freezin' er' up! And i can tell that she is that duchess of said tribe very well, her looks are... ratha stunnin'~" -he'd said, having such a romanced look to his face... that's... odd.-
"But no worrays, mate! I've got this all unda control! Anyway, off i go!" -he'd said cheerfully, the cockpit hatch of the Marsupial Mech as he got back into his seat, the mech took a couple steps for a jump and soon, the hiss and squeal of hydraulics were heard, the sounds of rockets were heard and the jump-jet-assisted mech soon rocket-jumped into the air, making some beautiful flips before it came careening back towards the ground, soon landing on a rather large tortoise walker, damaging it's shelled armored back, the mech slid off and landed besides it, the marsupial mech pilot looked surprised and shrugged-
"Eh, i don't haveta pay for it..." -he'd said before gunning his mech, it hopping and bounding off the ground at an amazing speed, any piranhas or FLA what were in it's way were most likely crushed under it's big flat feet as it bounded towards where Pihana and Ppyrr were.-
"Eeeerrrreeee' comes ya new lovaaaahh~~!!" -the roo said in a wide-eyed-and-grinned anticipation- batonmaster500
IC: *Ppyrr blinks.* "Pihana." *From the tone of his voice, Pihana looks at where the yelling is coming from and sees the mech.*
-suddenly, the Mech comes in for a slide, the mouth of the mech suddenly opens up wide and a tongue shoots out from the mouth, it quickly wraps around Pihana! seemes these mechs were a bit in tune for law enforcement as well as military application.-
Pihana: "WH-WHAT THE?!? E-EW, GET IT OFF MEEE~!!!"
-and suddenly, it yanked her back into the maw of the Marsupial mech, the Piranha Duchess screaming as metallic jaw snapped shut, trapping her inside-
Kangaroo pilot: "Eeeh hee hee~!! She's all mine now~! Time to head for tha weddin' hall!" -he'd cheered as the mech soon began its hydraulic-rocket-assisted rocket-jump, seems he's not going to bring back Pihana to the turtles as they wanted him to.- "Who said the Turtles needed er'?! I want her because she looks like a perfect mate to me!"
-he'd landed on the high ledges above to tell the turtles there was a slight change in plans for them...-

He then comes back out and slashes the piranha, freezing him instantly, before the mech lands before him.
Turtle Commander: “<Sigh>... No matter how you look at it, our side has captured the Piranha Duchess. Despite never aiding us in this war until this moment, the Kangaroos have captured Pihana fair and square...”
As the commander says the last word, two ice armor-clad desert tortoises, each with a grapple gun in one hand and a now glowing blue spear in the other, jump out of their camouflage in the dirt, piercing and freezing the mech’s shoulders with their grapples. They zip up and each stab their spear into either side of the mechanical jaw. The lower jaw unhinges and drops as the mouth freezes over and Pihana falls out of the uncoiling tongue, just in time for the turtle commander to dash forward and catch the Duchess, freezing her over in the process.
Turtle Commander: “Looks like the distraction worked.”
Ice begins spreading from the parts of the mech the tortoises struck, as they land with a roll on the ground and run to the commander’s side.
Turtle Commander: “I’d advise you to hop out of that mech before it freezes over. Don’t make us freeze you too. From what you were saying, it sounds like you were acting on impulse and without the jurisdiction of your leader, so I doubt the Kangaroos will see this as a betrayal of our alliance. We need the Duchess to use as leverage. I can’t let you put your personal desires over the chance to end the war. I’m sorry.”

Pihana: "FREEZE HIM, DANGIT! GET THAT CREEP AWAY FROM MEEEE!!"
Kangaroo Pilot: "C'mmmoooonnn! I want her, she's so cute and adorable~, she fits right at home will all those killer spiders and badgers and those native Emus we started a civil war with one time~! She'll fit perfectly in--"
Pihana: "SOMEONE SHUT THIS FREAK UP AND FREEZE HIM!!!" -she'd roar out angrily, looking at a turtle guard with intense expression, the turtle guard freaked and just as the roo was bounding towards her, seemingly rearing for a kiss before the turtle guard put his ice spear between him and Pihana, quickly freezing the poor roo with a shocked expression on his kissy face as he ran right into the spear, freezing instantly before falling over with a thud-
-The Piranha duchess sighed in relief and growled some more- Pihana: "I don't wanna imagine what being in kangaroo captivity would be like, let alone being with one who would think i am the right woman for her! You shelled boys better treat me with respect! Someone send this freak back to his island and tell their leader what had happened! He was the only one to be here anyhow! Nobody else came with him!" -she'd said, before yelping as she was frozen instantly by her new captors-

-at the entrance to the icy valley, far away from the fighting, FLA Flygons were all demoralized and freaked out, beat and out of breath, their vehicles struggled to function in the cold, hoping the warmer temps at the base of this valley will warm them up, some fires started around their vehicles to help in that warming up-
-FLA Leader and founder Flygaaz Gazaili growled and shivered- Flygaaz: "Arceus dang those turtles and their ice chi, facing against such forces whom have our element that can easily kill us all is just unfair and frankly, inhumane! It must violate some convention or something!" -he'd growled, holding tight onto his robes and large fluffy blanket around him, still shivering-
-Flygaj nodded and agreed to his sentiment- Flygaj: "Let the other branches of the FLA handle this situation! We can't survive in such environments! If we were to somehow take the battle to our territory, we would have had the upper edge, they wouldn't even get through our powerful sandstorms! Dying from starvation and sand inhalation! Thats a more honorable way to go than freezing to death!" -he'd growled, coughing a bit, seems he had caught a small cold-
Flygaaz: "We won't participate in this battle anymore, what should we do in the meantime then?! We can't let our men get soft and lazy!"
Flygaj: "Er... m-maybe... attack kastle koldheart?" -such an answer immediately send a super effective Dragon Tail to him from Flygaaz with love, sending him flying across the camp-
Flygaaz: "WE AREN'T SETTING FOOT NEAR THAT DREADED ICE DRAGON'S TERRITORY, DUMMY!!!" -he'd roared out in anger-
Flygaj: "Ooowwww, b-but sh-she hold alot o-of normal Chi! W-we could use alot o-of that power!"
Flygaaz: "That is the most ultimate suicide mission! Also, there are rumors of one scary fairy type in there! Even if we somehow manage to overpower the Ice Dragon that lives there, that Fairy may clean us all up and freeze us in retaliation!"
Flygaj: "B-but that K-kyurem's related to F-Flygarra! M-maybe she can tell us where he is so we can FINALLY put the stake to his heart!"

-Fastfoward alot of negotiations and whatnot, and a large fleet of ironclad battleships and aircraft carrier, all that look very Aggron-like, begins sailing towards the mainland in an attempt to help reclaim and restore Flygarra's power to his rightful throne. But it was a long sailing trek, they were going to stop by an neutral-ally, being the Isles of Inkpan.-
-But meanwhile on the back decks of the stern of the fleet's largest battleship, a rather dusty Pokemon battlefield had been opened up on the request between Aggrakai and Flygarra for more old-fashioned battling and sparring. No weapons allowed, just their own natural movesets. However a restriction was put upon Flygarra to make the battle a more even match, his ground type moves were replaced with other non-ground type moves for the sake of ship integrity, but the battle was seemingly really close-
-Both men on opposite sides of the battlefield, shirtless and weary, but still ready to rumble, were staring each other down, anticipating each other's move. Flyzeinab cheering her lovely little brother on, the Aggron Vice President, cheering on his superior.-
Aggrakai: "See? Without your devastating Ground-type moves, you'll have to claw to your bones to even penetrate it, You're lucky i am giving you ample room to move and giving you lighter attacks to deal with. But the tide of battle may turn at any second, dear Shah." -he'd said calmly and cool-
Flygarra: "Keep boasting that you were a champion's beloved Pokemon! Keep boasting, i really want to see your downfall!" -he'd grinned with a cocky smile before jumping up, his wings giving a mightly flap to soon shoot him head-on into the aggron, Seemingly using Dragon rush upon him. It connect but make the aggron slightly flinch, he took the headbutt to the chest before latching onto the flygon and tossing him over himself!-
Aggrakai: "You're whittling me down bit by bit, and your courage to take me down is extraordinary!" -he'd said before using Dragon claw against Flygarra. the Flygon king screams loudly as he was send flying right back to his side of the field with one swipe- "And you must learn how to anticipate one of my super effective moves against you!"
-the roo yelped and quickly hopped out of his mech as it was freezing over, the Roo looked freaked out and growled at the turtles- Kangaroo Pilot: "Daw you idiots! OOC: That’s weird, your IC reply didn’t appear outside of this quote. And yeah, automatic freeze from catching her, since he had ice chi plugged, so I guess she said those lines back when she was caught by the mech.
IC: Turtle Commander: “Alright, take these two to the truck for now, and guard it with your life.”
The tortoises take the frozen Pihana and kangaroo pilot to the truck they brought the ice chi with, while the Commander radioes Typhoon, telling the General what has happened.
Typhoon: “I see, in that case we’ll have to work that out with the Kangaroos after this, but good job capturing the Duchess. You’re surrounded by piranhas on the east, right? Under normal circumstances, I’d send reinforcements to you, but since we’re holding the line here at the entrance to the Glacial Pass and you’re the ones with the ice chi, it’ll be the reverse. Freeze your way through the piranhas who intercepted your shipment, and bring the ice chi to us here at the the barricade. This could be the turning point in the battle!”
And that Roo was actually dropping in to say hi, and now that he's here, he may wanna test out the actual combat ability of this mech since it is going to be the Kangaroo tribe's flagship land vehicle soon.
