Judging by your past experiences with Mock, you know he's a strictly truthful person, and lying would be quite uncharacteristic of him. From what I could see you have no way of knowing whether he is lying under my threat or not.
First of all, maybe he wouldn't lie. But if he did, I would still know that it was you.

XD OK, so let me get this straight. . . if I came into your room one night and hung a Lenny poster above your bed before leaving quietly, then Mockingbird claimed it was him, but only because I had blackmailed him by threatening to throw his Halloween candy into the Rhine River if he said otherwise--despite the fact that you are friends with Mockingbird and you know he has no habit whatsoever of lying--you would still know it was me? (We are still speaking in the hypothetical sense that I didn't publicly announce on the LMBEs that I was the one who snuck into your room, right?)
