The Sky was red. Black clouds cast a shadow over LEGO Message Boards city. The air had already begun to go sour with poisonous fumes. The end was near. Miakittymoon looked down upon the city from the window of a massive spacecraft. The Chaos below had already visibly ravaged the city. Keighlian, the Supreme Mod Commander had entrusted this ship, The Lithium to her to evacuate one eighth of the city's population. They were scheduled to take off only one hour before the deadline. If everything had gone to plan, everyone registered to her ship should already be on board.
MKM turned to look at small group of people on the Command Bridge of the ship. Each person, a former member of the Community Helper Program sat at the control deck. Some were in charge of the ship's many controls and functions, others monitoring records. "Diglett!" She called to the man in charge of the records division, "Is everyone on board?"
Diglett used his touchscreen to scroll through the list of registered people and topics. After a few moments he answered;
"Yes Captain. All except..."
"All except what?"
"All except one topic."
"No!" Cried someone in the controls division. MKM looked towards the girl who spoke; a dark haired young woman who looked to be about nineteen or twenty. MKM looked at the nameplate on her uniform. Flyinggirl. "What do you know about them?" The Mod asked. "They must be Finding Friendships. I lived there for the last four years." Flyinggirl said.

MKM thought for a moment. "Diglett," she announced, "Have your men check the records for any discrepancies. I'll check the radar." MKM left the room and headed for the radar division. Diglett belted out his orders: "Gollymolly! MindGarage! I need you to scour the records for any mistakes! People's lives could be at stake here!" Flyinggirl mentally prepared herself for what was coming. She may have to leap into action at any moment.
Bee-Boy ran through the city streets, avoiding rubble and trying hard to breath. The air was getting worse. He looked at the colossal plasma beam from the clouds that had locked onto the direct center of the city. Smoke and fumes from the destruction were blowing towards them.
"We have to hurry!" Thought Bee. He turned and faced his friends. "Is everyone still here?"
"I think so," said Tolkiennerds. Bee sighed as he realized this could be their last moment together after knowing her all those years. It seemed like only a few months ago that she was that same bespectacled, fangirling teenager. Life had gone by so fast since then. He looked to make sure everyone was there. Ninjay and Puss were there of course. He had seen them nearly every day in the past four years. They had hardly changed. Majolo was there along with Darthy the sith. Webby, Josiah, Elsa and Luke Mcswagger were there. Jesuschristfollower, Waffleboy, K66Starwars and a few others who had joined Finding Friendships in recent years were there as well. Flyinggirl, Johnyjo and Steampunk-jedi; community helpers, were already aboard the evacuation ships. Someone was missing...
"Nerd-boy is missing!" Puss yelled. "Bubsey?" Bee called and looked around to make sure."He must have slipped away during the journey."
"We have to go find him!" Maj shouted.
"We can't." Bee replied. "We'll barely have time to get to Skul as it is. We'll just have to hope he's made it to safety."
Everyone went on with a quickened pace and a heavy heart. As he ran, Bee's mind returned to the day 2 months ago when it was announced that the message boards would end.
It was eight O clock in the evening at Finding Friendships. Bee sat on the couch with Tolk, Ninjay and Puss while watching a movie.
"This has got to be my movie of the year," Puss said enthusiastically.
"It came out about 6 years ago." Bee said
"It's timeless."
"We watched it a few years ago, remember? Frank, Harriet and all that?
"Dude, my memory is better than yours. We have never seen this-"
Just then, the movie stopped and Whitealligator appeared on the screen. Her face was very serious as opposed to her usual bubbly, cheerful demeanor. "This is an important announcement," She began, "The Message Boards are ending on March 6th, 2017. You may have noticed that the sanousphere is getting much weaker. In only two months, it will be too dangerous to survive and the Mods will have the unfortunate duty of destroying the message boards in order to protect the universe and make sure nobody returns here."
Bee and his friends were stunned. It was just a normal day. Nobody expected this literally earth-shattering announcement. They sat there, frozen to the couch as Whitealligator continued her speech.
"But don't panic. We are working hard to make sure everyone escapes. Evacuation ships are coming to the city as I speak. As long as we all do exactly as the mods say, everyone will be alright."
"I wish the Mods would stop joking around," Ninjay said with an annoyed look on his face.
"This is not a joke." Whitealligator said before shutting off the video.
"Darn." Ninjay said.
Tolk just sat there in stunned silence. Bee remembered the day when this would have sent her into hysterics. Puss calmly started evacuating his game consoles. Bee just thought he was having a nightmare.
Bee snapped back to the present day just as they were entering a high-rise topic.
"Skul's on top of the next topic pressing random buttons." Ninjay said.
Bee tried to savor his last moments before the confrontation. It was likely the last moments of their lives. When they reached the top, it was like time froze. Skul was on the roof of the topic next to them about two stories below. He was sitting on a stool operating a machine that shot a beam into the sky, destroying the sanousphere. Time to go!
"Hoods on, guys!" Bee shouted, pulling a ninja hood over his face. Taking a running start, he leaped off the building onto the next while his friends followed. After three heart-stopping seconds of flying through the air, he touched down on right next to Skul.
"Shut down the weird laser machine, Skul!" Bee commanded.
"Oh Crudbuttons!" Skul exclaimed, taking off his headphones and finally noticing their presence."You can't stop my skybeam Bee! It is the paramount in villinous tech!"
"This has gone too far!" Bee said, "Shut it off before the Mods are forced to destroy the Message Boards!"
"They're gonna do WHAT?!?!" Skul asked. He was quite confused.
"Yeah, they're gonna blow up the boards so the insanity doesn't spread to the rest of the universe. It's like literally all anybody's talked about the last couple months."
Skul slapped his forehead. "Leave it to the Mods to do something stupid like that." He said, "All I wanted to do was liven things up. I've been celebrating and listening to One Confection up on this roof the past two months. I can't believe nobody told me."
"Then I'll just turn it off for you!" Bee declared. He ran over to the machine and found a control panel on the side with a small screen and keyboard, the off button was just above. Bee pressed it like his life depended on it. (It did.)
"Password incorrect." A voice from the machine said. Bee's heart sank. "Really?"
"Oh yeah," Skul said. "There's a password."
"Can you tell me what it is?" Bee asked.
"Sure." Skul said. "Here, type this in."
"I'm all ears!"
"And fingers, hopefully," Tolk said.
Skul dictated while Bee Typed. "G-U-L-L...
"Go on?" Bee said.
"ah yes, I-B-L-E. Done."
Bee looked at the screen and slammed his head against it twice.
"Really?" Bee asked frustratedly. He glared at Skul for a few moments. "This is not what we need right now."
"Oh, I understand," said Skul, "I do have this big red button that shuts it down."
Puss snickered. "We're not gonna fall for tha-
"Okay!" Elsa shouted before proceeding to run up and press the button.
"You're a hero Elsa." Puss said.
"Thanks!"
"Yeah, cause that button's totally not gonna do something bad."
"Pshaw! Of course not!"
"Excuse me!" Skul said as he ran to the edge of the skyscraper.
Just then, a spring under the roof of the building went off. The roof shot upwards, flinging Bee and his friends up into the air. Bee futilely reached at the machine as he sailed away. "No!!!" He cried. Everything would be over in a few minutes, he closed his eyes and waited to hit the ground. His life flashed before his eyes. He remembered his first day at Finding Friendships six years ago...
Bee had been looking all day for topic to live in. Brickbook just wasn't right for him, neither was the Secret Sisters and Undercover Brothers Chat. He left Skul's chatroom after being there for less than a minute. He had been through several others but none of them seemed like the place for him. He stopped in front of the last place he wanted to check out before going back home to his parents. It looked like some sort of apartment complex. His map told him that the topic was called "Finding Friendships." 'Might as well check it out,' Bee thought. He walked across the sidewalk and knocked on the door.... No answer. He waited a few moments and then opened the door.
Absolute chaos. People were running around like crazy. Some were having lightsaber duels, others were practicing spinjitzu, he even saw somebody getting stuffed into a box and being shipped away. He told himself that he should leave at that very moment but for some reason he didn't. "Can somebody tell me what's going on?" he yelled.
Of course, nobody heard him.
Bee was about to leave when he saw a girl sitting on couch apparently in a trance of some sort. She looked about thirteen or fourteen, had long blond hair that had obviously not been brushed in a long time. Her glasses were crooked and her eyes were glazed. She wore a pink T shirt with what Bee recognized as the Tolkien emblem and Tardis socks. It probably safe to say she was a nerd. It was also clear that she hadn't moved in quite some time.
