Chapter 6: The Duel Closer, closer. The army slithered closer, leaving curved grooves in the trail. Closer, closer. The ninja ran closer, the bright red burning in their corrupted eyes. Closer, closer. Andrew’s likely demise and doom was nearing. His heart was racing faster than a bullet train. Confusion mingled with fear, clouding his mind, leaving it blank and processing. A sense of fear swept over him like a wave of chilling water splashing over him, soaking him and drowning him in the depths of the monstrous ocean of horror. Before, he imagined his encounter of an approaching army differently. He saw himself charging at them, whacking them, knocking them over, demolishing their evil plans and sending them back to their home cowardly. However, this was different. This was real. A single wrong move could result in a sudden ending. A single slip could stop everything at once. A single mistake, and Ninjago would likely be destroyed. “Run, run.” he thought. His legs didn’t respond. It was as if they were glued to the spot, in iron bonds, or they weighed thousands of pounds. Finally, he began to muster the all the courage he could find. Any drop of bravery lying about was collecting. He filled himself with intrepidity and made a bold move. He ran to the bridge screaming like a little girl. The Serpentine army began to climb up onto the ship. as he ran up the rickety wooden stairs to the bridge, where many of the controls were. Andrew swung open the door, ran inside, and slammed it shut. He quickly turned the key in the key-hole to lock it shut. He then ran to the ship’s wheel, and attempted to come up with what to do next. Hundreds of Serpentine were bustling about on the deck, each jostling and shoving each other out of the way to get to Andrew. However, this resulted in then all clumsily being knocked over and tripped. They were a bumbling mess. Even the ninja struggled to break through the crowd. Andrew suddenly pulled a metal throttle, and the ship began to rise into the air. Some of the Serpentine had made it to the door of the bridge, and were banging on it. Andrew spotted another throttle from the corner of his eye. Above it were the words “ONLY USE IN EMERGENCY.” Andrew felt that this qualified as an emergency. He ran over to it and pulled it mightily. A sudden invisible pressure landed upon him and the ship abruptly zoomed straight into the air. The Serpentine as well felt a large feeling of pressure as the ship flew. Finally, the weight decreased, and Andrew stood up. He ran over to the glass window, and looked below. He was hundreds of feet into the air. The snakes continued banging on the door, hoping to bust the old wood and break through. Andrew saw another crank to the side, and ran over in hope that it would help. Outside, Nya pushed her way through the mob of snakes and ran towards the door. She called upon her elemental powers and shot a powerful jet of water breaking the rickety door, sending woodchips abound. At that moment, Andrew turned the crank, and the ship suddenly flipped upside down. Andrew hit the ceiling with a thud as hundreds of snakes all fell from the deck to down below, screaming wildly. Jay screeched: “I wish I was the master of soft pillows!” Thankfully, the ninja and snakes attained low harm as they hit the soft sand from below. Andrew rubbed his sore elbow which he landed on. Looking up, he once again saw the crank hanging above. He jumped up in attempt to pull it again; he couldn’t stay on the ceiling. He leaped as high as he could, and then finally grabbed the bar. His force quickly pulled it down, as well as the handle, due to the large amount of weight that Andrew was. He suddenly hit the ground again, narrowly avoiding landing on his head. “Phew!” Andrew exclaimed. “That was close!” Andrew wasn’t the only one to manage to stay on board. He turned around casually and saw something he didn’t want to. It was Nya, who was recovering from the constant changes in the ship’s gravity – and the knock on the head didn’t seem to restore her true personality, for she then charged towards an unsuspecting Andrew. Andrew yelped as she saw her approach, and immediately grabbed a random katana which was lying on the floor. He held the blade in front of himself to shield himself from Nya’s own golden blade. The blades struck, and Nya growled with anger as she attempted to strike Andrew upon the head, which was once again blocked (the anger was clouding her judgement of good swordplay). The lash which was intended for Andrew’s side was shielded by his own blade, and striking him in the chest was impossible as he mediocrely swung his blade left to right more frantically than a squirrel on caffeine. Andrew thought his swordfights would look more like they did in pirate movies, with the both of them each attempting to strike, blocking, and still finding the time to flip and blurt witty quips. This was different. Nya was the only one attempting to get Andrew, whilst Andrew barely managed to block each nearly disastrous blow, and whenever he did thankfully succeed, another one would near an unprotected area. He was lucky to get through so far, but he knew he likely wouldn’t manage to keep it up. Thinking on the fly, in a moment when Nya seemed to momentarily hesitate, he kicked her in the shins. Nya grunted with pain, then mentally came to the realization they were playing rough. At this, she kicked Andrew in the stomach, knocking him over to a bookshelf. He gasped and groaned for breath. A couple dumbbells atop the bookshelf then toppled over and landed upon Nya’s head. Suddenly, she fell onto the ground, for the sudden weight knocked her out, and she was unconscious. [That’s not too violent, right, mods?] Andrew finally caught his breath. The sudden pain brought tears to his eyes, and he had an urge to cry. “No, don’t cry.” he thought to himself. “You’re a ninja. You don’t cry.” Andrew attempted to shake it away, but a rebellious tears ran down anyway. He then looked and noticed that Nya was lying on the floor, not moving. He then walked over to inspect her. He was still suspicious. He pinched her on the arm. No reaction commenced. “YO, NYA, THERE’S A WALRUS EATING YOUR STAMP COLLECTION!!” He shouted. She didn’t respond. Wondering if her life remained, he put his ear to her heart. A faint pulse was heard. “Well, she is alive.” he thought. “Maybe she’s unconscious or something.” After staring for a moment or two, he then noticed a scrap of paper laying on the floor. He picked it up inquisitively, and it read in neat handwriting: “going to mystake’s for more magic tea - at least an hour of training required while i’m gone – wu” Receiving an idea, he ran out of the bridge, down the stairs, onto the deck, down more stairs, into a corridor, and into the ninja’s bedroom. He then picked up a cell phone with an orange case sitting atop Cole’s bed. He turned it on, revealing an image of him and the ninja laughing together, without his ghost scar. He swiped to the left, and the phone requested a password. “Shoot” Andrew thought as he tossed to phone back onto the bed. He grabbed a blue one from Jay’s bed, and it requested no password. Andrew tapped a “GPS” button, and was then given a large digital map of Ninjago. In the search bar above, he typed the word “mystake,” and one result appeared, showing the coordinates for a tea store. He ran back up to the bridge, and began to set sail for Mystake’s Magic Tea Shop.

Maybe there were a couple of throw pillows lying around.

I . . . I don't really like it. Also, what are these: :joke:
Doesn't surprise me. Those are extra emotes made my MasterOshawott. I think they were going to replace the original emotes until they found a way to use the original ones. Of course, I could have misheard that. :joke:

I think my excuse was the sea of sand below them. Man, now that I read my older stuff, I realize it's garbage - but of course, in a few months, I'll look at what I'm writing now and cringe at that.
I know, right? I think it was supposed to be a parody of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" song, "Be Our Guest". Go figure. If I recall correctly, it went a little something like this;
You've. . . been. . . trolled, you've been trolled, As you've probably been told, Don't reply to this guy, he's just trying to get a rise Out of you, yes, it's true! You respond and that's his cue, To start trouble on the double as he strokes his manly stubble,
You've been trolled, you've been trolled, (you should probably just fold!) When the only winning move is not to playyyy, And yet you keep on trying, minus he replying, You've been trolled, you've been trolled, have a nice day!!
Or at least something like that. And I totally didn't just look up the song and write down the lyrics.
I knew about the trollface, but I had no clue that there was a song about it.

Chapter 7: The Cure Flying the ship turned out to go surprisingly well. Using the GPS as a compass, he headed the ship towards the direction of the tea shop. The amount of accidental wrong buttons and lever mishaps were few. The truth was, if Andrew’s heart was into a project or duty, he actually did it quite well – with an exception for fighting. He was a smart child, but didn’t care to participate in dull, educational events, nor anything else he didn’t care to do. After the flight, he arrived above Mystake’s Tea Shop, but found he had no way to land. There was no landing dock, nor any safe area. Houses and building surrounded. After several minutes of consideration, he finally found a rope ladder, and used it to climb down to the tea shop. It was very shaky and unsafe, though, but Andrew still managed to make it down without much of a struggle. He then walked to the door of the tea shop. Opening it, he smelled many strong scents, but were all so mixed together, it resulted in a painfully musky odor. In front of him was a short wooden counter with a small person standing behind it, looking inquisitive. “Uh, hey.” Andrew said uncertainly. A voice from an unseen part of the shop shouted: “Be right there!” An elder woman with gray hair walked to the counter from behind a moment later. “What is- oh.” She said as she noticed the size and supposed age of her customer. “Go off, child. Your immature affairs are not needed here.” She said. “I’m not here to do anything inna- immeh- uh, un-mature. I’m here to, uh, save Ninjago.” “I’m sure you are. Now be gone! Shoo!” Andrew then pulled out Wu’s wallet, which he had “borrowed” from the Destiny’s Bounty. He pulled out several wadded bills. “Is this enough?” Andrew asked. Mystake grabbed the money and inspected it with wide, excited eyes. She opened the small door that looked to be part of the counter. “Follow me. What is it you need?” She asked. Walking into the storage room, Andrew said: “I’m looking for some kind of tea that make people, you know, un-evil.” “It won’t work on your siblings, if that’s what you’re wondering.” “I’m not talking about siblings.” “Okay. It should be around here somewhere . . .” she said as she inspected some of the shelves. Andrew looked over at some of the names of teas. Some of the tea types included tea that would make you grow, tea that would make you fast, tea that would make you shrink, tea that would make you heal, tea that would make things frozen, tea that would help the drinker lose weight, tea that would explode upon drinking, and peppermint tea. Looking behind his back, Andrew quickly grabbed a box of healing tea and shrinking tea and stuffed them in his pockets. “Hm, I’m afraid we’re all out of the tea you need. However, I have this personality-restoring tea, and this tea which will cleanse you of facmalum.” Mystake said. Andrew had no idea what facmalum was, but it sounded as if the personality-restoring tea would do just right. Just in case he did need the facmalum-cleansing tea anyway, he said: “I’ll take both.” “There you are.” Mystake said as she handed him two boxes of tea. Andrew figured perhaps he gave her a bit too much money, for she didn’t charge. Andrew walked out of the shop, closing the door, and began to climb back up the ladder, wondering why the tea shop didn’t seem to have as many customers as it should. In the same way he did before, Andrew flew his way back to the City of Ouroboros. Of course, if he was told to do so for a training exercise, he would fail horribly. Strangely, once he had gotten his priorities straight, he gave his tasks more focus and determination. Eventually he found himself once again above the City of Ouroboros. A few of the Serpentine from down below seemed to notice his arrival, then realize they could do nothing to him when he was at such a height. Andrew went into the kitchen and grabbed a tea box. He opened it, and then saw a bunch of small, lightly woven bags with tiny bits of tea and herbs inside. “Hey, what a rip-off!” Andrew exclaimed in frustration. “There’s no tea! Just these dumb little bags! I’ll sue!” He didn’t know what it meant to sue, but people on TV said they’d do it when they were ripped off or hurt. He then noticed instructions on the side of the box. Inquisitively, he began to read it. He then came to the realization that he had to use the little bags to MAKE tea. He filled up a pot with water and turned the stove on all the way, so that the water would boil. He looked up using Jay’s phone to see what it meant to “boil;” he had no idea. The phone read: “(with reference to a liquid) reach or cause to reach the temperature at which it bubbles and turns to vapour.” Andrew didn’t know how the water would blow bubbles. It didn’t have any soap, nor one of those little thingies used to blow them. After a few minutes of waiting, Andrew finally noticed bouncing bubbles blubbing in the boiling bowl. Realizing the what the definition REALLY meant, he then dropped a tea bag into the pot. Somehow, he didn’t feel like this was enough, so he simply dropped three-quarters of the box’s contents inside. Andrew began to wonder how he would give this to the ninja and Serpentine, but he didn’t have much time to ponder about how. Suddenly, from another room, Andrew heard a growl. It was a mix of a moan, a snarl, and a growl. It was either a mouse telling her friends she had found cheese, or Nya, whom had awoken. CLUMP, CLUMP, CLUMP, CLUMP. Feet were trotting closer. Andrew grabbed a random object beside him to protect himself, which unfortunately, was a spatula. Nya burst into the room, swinging the door open quickly, and likely damaging the walls. “It’s time we get this over with!” Nya said, charging at Andrew. Andrew screamed, and ran behind a counter in the middle of the large kitchen. Nya swung a heavy blade at Andrew, but missed and struck the counter, damaging that pretty marble. “Take this, you immature rat!” She said, lunging forward at Andrew as he dodged. Nya didn’t seem so verbose earlier, but she must have found her words now that she had awakened. “How do you think you’ll stop me now?” She taunted cruelly. “Don’t have any dumbbells here, do you?” Whether it was courage or idiocy that made him say so, Andrew didn’t know, but Andrew nervously responded: “I dunno, I think I’m looking at one right now.” Nya growled once more and charged once again. Getting an idea, Andrew ran over to the pot of tea. Nya followed, but Andrew speedily stuck his hand into it, and splashed out a handful of tea right upon her face. “Ack!” She exclaimed as the hot water hit her. Honestly, Andrew’s hand felt a bit scalded as well, but he barely noticed. Gradually, the glow in Nya’s eyes began to fade, and her angry expression lifted into confusion. Suddenly, all signs of anger and corruption disappeared, and she glanced around warily. “Andrew?” She wondered. “What happened? Why am I-?” She paused. “Why did I hate you?” She asked. “Why did I want to annihilate you? Why was I-” She paused once more. She seemed to be having a bit of a struggle getting her mind wrapped around the recent events. After a few moments, all seemed to be recollected. “Oh my.” She said. She then looked a bit sheepish. “Andrew, I’m sorry for trying to uh, y’know . . .” “It’s fine.” Andrew said awkwardly. “It wasn’t your fault.” “Yeah, thanks.” Her charming smile seemed to return, and then her eyes widened as if she noticed something. “Ow.” She said, rubbing her head. “You dropped dumbbells on me!” “Oh, uh, yeah, and uh, sorry about those dumbbells.” Andrew then apologized. “Ouch . . . er, yeah, it’s fine, I think . . .” A couple silent moments stood. “Am I the only one feeling like this is really awkward?” “No, I am too.” “So, how did you get me back to normal?” “It was this tea.” Andrew gestured to the pot. “I got it from Mystake.” “Mystake?!” Nya exclaimed. “You couldn’t have gotten from Mystake! You’d have to fly there!” Andrew blushed with embarrassment. “Well, I did.” Nya seemed genuinely surprised. “But while training and chores and other things, you seemed so . . .” “I know, I know. But I did.” “Right. Have you cured the others?” “Er, no, I’m afraid.” “Okay. How will we cure those hundreds of snakes?” “I don’t know! You’re an adult; why are you asking me? You adults are supposed to know anything and everything, and ignore kids because they’re dumb brats who don’t know anything!” Nya’s expression was a mix of surprise, offense, and concern. “Andrew, I’m sorry if you had that impression. I just felt, I dunno, as if you’d know what to do after you saved me. Oh yeah, and I’m a teenager, not an adult.” Somehow, these words seemed to sink in. He had saved her. Even at a young age, he was a hero. Andrew’s pride returned, and he began to think about what to do. “Well, I guess we just focus on the ninja first, and deal with the snakes some other time?” He suggested. Glancing at the pot, Nya agreed. “Not bad. Perhaps we could go out and try to make them come over. The ninja are more likely to come first, because of how fit they are, after all that training.” “Right! And I guess we just splash the tea on them?” “Yeah, I suppose so!” “I’m glad we can just splash. I was afraid of having to force-feed them. Oh, and Nya?” “Yes?” It was a question Andrew wasn’t sure he wanted answered. “What will they do if they get us?”
* * * * * “All right, it’s landed, and the snakes haven’t noticed.” Nya confirmed. “All looks according to plan! You’ve got the tea?” Andrew looked at the pot he was holding. “Yup.” Nya smiled, and began to stand in a bit of a defensive position. “Great! Now we just need them to come over.” Andrew was great at getting people’s attention. “OVER HERE, YA SLIMY POTATOES!!” He shouted loudly. “‘Slimy potatoes?!?!’” Nya asked in disbelief. “Hush, they’re coming!” Andrew said. It was true. Hundreds of multi-colored Serpentine were slithering out of their houses and homes, and charging towards the landed Destiny’s Bounty. In front of them were the ninja, advancing rapidly. “Wait for it . . . wait for it . . .” Nya cautioned. The ninja were only a few meters away. Once only a meter away, Nya shouted “NOW!” and Andrew tossed the pot onto the six. They all shouted and spluttered as the large wave of tinted liquid splashed over them, soaking their suits. Like Nya, they seemed to grow less angry and the glow was fading, but the snakes were still advancing. “Quick! Inside, inside!” The ninja and Wu somewhat groggily tumbled onto the deck, and Nya ran up to the bridge to start it. The ship gradually rose into the air, and the ninja seemed to finally be piecing the recent events together. Dull and distorted interjections floated about such as “What?” “Huh?” “Oh.” “Heyy . . .” “How?” “Potato!” “Ugh. “Er . . .” and other nonsensical noises. Around an hour or two later, at dinner, the ninja sat in the dining room, discussing the recent events, with several good-humored laughs here and there. “It sure is a good thing Mystake had that personality-restoring tea!” Andrew said cheerfully as he lifted a fork-full of noodles. Kai raised his eyebrow suspiciously. He picked up a small, unopened box which was on the table. “You mean THIS personality-restoring tea?” Andrew gasped and grabbed the box. He looked at it, and sure enough, it had not been used. “B-b-but-” Andrew sputtered. “If I didn’t use THIS tea, what tea DID I use?” He then remembered the other tea Mystake had given him. “Wu,” he began to ask. “What’s facmalum?”
I . . . I don't really like it. Also, what are these: :joke:
Doesn't surprise me. Those are extra emotes made my MasterOshawott. I think they were going to replace the original emotes until they found a way to use the original ones. Of course, I could have misheard that. :joke:
I personally don't find them as attractive as the normal ones. And there are less. (Do you mean misread?)
