So why is that unfair? I thik it just means you have good skill.
How is it unfair? If anything, if there were no offisdes, it would be unfair on the goalkeeper and the defenders because the Striker could stand anywhere.
I count it anyways, Argentina still has more Wordl cup victories than Germany.
A place where people can talk about football/soccer.
I'm astro704, the best at football on the boards. I've played for various academies, represented England at youth level, and close to getting a professional contract. I play Centre Forward, Left Wing, and CAM. I prefer CAM as it gives me more room to dribble. However, most of the time I'm a centre forward. I thrive on long balls so I can use my pace and strength to get past defenders. My weaknesses are long passes. (Brick I hate long passes) , marking, and tackling.
Anyway, I'd love to hear about what you guys are good at, and we can discuss results and the future of football here. I could give you all a lecture about why China is ruining football with their crazy contracts but that's another story. So in a nutshell, you can discuss anything about football here.
Hmm... I used to play football at school and club level for fun. I was GK for school 'cause everyone else was utter rubbish. I was quite good, but I never grew and short keepers are useless. Used to thrive on penalty shorts. Never let one it... ever. My school came third in the state championships.
At the same time I played Churches Football (Church funded Christian football) where I was an LB. You didn't admit to playing for a Church club. Kids from school looked down on it because it was inexpensive. Elitist jerks!
I don't play anymore, been meaning to get into futsal for something to do.
I support Sydney FC in Australia, Celtic in Scotland... And Coventry FC in England. RIP Coventry City Football Club.
