OOC: While we're talking about Roleplays, would you be interested in joining a possible Jurassic World RP? Me, Z-Whales, and some others are trying to put one together. We'll probably turn the Jurassic World forum into a RP forum, since it's inactive as a discussion board.

Though most Chimeans prefer living inland and abhor the idea of even wandering into The Outlands, there are a few adventurous and brave souls who have decided to test their luck, grit and skill out in these wild, untameable regions. These Chimeans form the Outland Trappers, a organization of adventurers and frontiersmen brought to The Outlands by the possibility of making a profit, primarily from trapping native animals and selling their pelts to the rich and fancy back home. Though generally not a single, united organization, the trappers are still fairly organized and prepared for what awaits them in the treacherous back-countries of The Outlands. They usually travel in companies of twelve or more headed by an elected captain, although a few do work in smaller groups or on their own. Despite being a bit behind on modern technology, Trappers are often well-equipped for life behind the frontier, wielding an old fashion sort of melee and ranged weapons, spears, knives, bows and slings are selected favorites. Trappers are usually civil and friendly, but you cross one you best be prepared. These rustic businessmen are out to make a profit and will not hesitate to fight for what they feel is rightfully theirs....
