A few dozen, I think. Mostly from my dad. I even have two commemorative ones. One for Canada's centennial, and one for Queen Elizabeth II's half-centennial. (I'm sure there's a better term than "half-centennial", but I am not in the mood to look it up ) The latter is quite subtle though, the only difference from a normal penny is the dual date on the front of the coin.
When "50 years" sounds too mainstream
It felt like that if I used that word, then I wouldn't have to use extra words to specify 50 years of what.

Makes cents, makes cents. Semicentennial. That's cool that you can spot a difference like that! What's your favorite coin?
Ahh, there's the word. Yeah, an eye for detail helps with coin collecting, though I don't do it to the extent of some collectors, the people who go looking for mint errors and such.
That... is a broad question. My favorite design, that I know of, is the Walking Liberty half-dollar. That one's a pretty coin.
I have one of those, but it's not my favorite of the coins that I own. My favorite in my collection is probably my 1870 Spanish five-cent coin. For a time it was the oldest coin in my collection (now I have two older), but for some time I didn't even realize it, the date was worn and I assumed it was 1970 until I looked up the inscription. XD What I find particularly neat about that one is, at the time Spain was under a provisional government, the coins released then were only made for a couple years. I have no idea how my dad got his hands on this coin.
Depends. Ideally there'd be a princess who needs saving, or a call from some community because the dragon is disturbing the peace, but if not, then yes, I'll have to find one to earn my spurs.
I'll let you know if I hear tale of a princess in a tower or a distressed villager

Mint errors? I thought we were talking about money? XPP
I had no idea it was such a broad question. I mean all it takes is five or six people not paying attention and a coin can get really far. What's a kind of coin you wish you had?

Not that kind of mint.
It's fine. Yeah, it amazes me sometimes how people don't look at these things. Like that time my coworker at the grocery store declared he'd found a half dollar, and it was actually an Eisenhower dollar. (half dollars may seem like big coins until you see an Eisenhower dollar, those things are ridiculously big ) I could've bought it from him at half price. XD
Well, there's a few. My quarter collection's currently missing three designs. British coins have a thing where putting them in the right arrangement forms the shape of a shield, I'm missing two of those. And it'd be cool to have more American coins from the 1800s, I only have one of those.

Whaaat?
Did you end up getting it from him though? XD
Only three? Wait, they do? What kind of easter egg level stuff is this?? When you complete it will it ressurect the Queen? That does sound cool, though I don't know where you'd even begin looking for them. Do you go coin hunting with a metal detector?

I did, yes, I bought it from him with a dollar bill.
Well, I'm missing three Washington quarter designs. One national park from 2012, and the two newest designs of this year. I'm not counting different mints, though, if I were counting mints then I'd be missing a lot.
They do indeed, and the dollar coin used to have an image of the whole shield on it. (I'm not certain if they redesigned the lower denominations by now... ) XD If only.
I dunno, all the coins that old I have were inherited. I mean, my grandfather once found a half-dollar that way. (a silver Franklin half-dollar) I own it now.
