"...What, you think I should join the squabble for the throne? I'd only splinter the Brotherhood further." Thernolenos paused in thought. "... Then again... if what he's saying is correct, Karunax would side with one who bested Valix and took the throne from him. In theory the majority of the makuta would not side against him readily... Then only Anakritis would be splintered, I suppose."
The rahkshi took a humble kneel before Makuta Thernolenos, still lacking the same manners as before, but it was a kneel nonetheless.
"..." "I admit it is enticing. How extensive is your enclave?"
A cackling is heard- soft, distant, yet somehow loud all the same.
Slowly, an armored foot emerges from the shadows into the main room, accompanied by a pair of blazing eyes above; then, it was joined by a second, identical foot- Makuta Voidarix's full form emerged from the shadows. His eyes seemed to open just a hair too wide- yellow pupils in two otherwise red rectangles that darted spastically from left to right. His mouth seemed to stretch just a hair too wide, sharp teeth gleaming in the light.
And then he suddenly stiffened, the savageness falling away form his face as he blinked. Instead, it was just replaced the innocent smile of a child, matched with curious, gleaming eyes.
It would not take a scientist to realize he was not quite right in the head.

"Hi..."
From down the hall, Toxica pokes her head out of her laboratory
"Ya creepy! YA SERIOUSLY CREEPY!" And she promptly retreats to her toxic wonderland.

"Hi..."
Karunax was leaning on the chamber's wall opposite of where Voidarix appeared, a slight grin on his face.

A dread wind blows as if to say "my entrance was better..."

"Greetings."
Voidarix flashed a wild smile at the hulking brute, replying jovially, "Can I break something?"

"In due time, brother. Preparations for our conquest are all but entirely completed. If it weren't for some, we might have taken half the universe already. You see, Anakritis, our former leader, has decided to put her own interests in front of the Brotherhood's and fled the throne when challenged for it. We cannot succeed with these broken ranks.
So I am going after her. If she will not return to complete Valix's challenge, then she will die a traitor's death."

Karunax's mind nearly explodes, a mental agony unlike anything he's ever experienced (here) tormenting his mind.

Karunax roars in agony, stumbling sideways before falling to his knees, clutching at his head with his claws. Voidarix can see something happening behind those claws: Karunax's head is shifting, armored plates growing and spreading across the sides of his Kanohi and encasing his head like a helmet, his beast-like horns growing slightly longer and more jagged. After a short moment, Karunax removes his hands and drops to all fours, a wild grin spread across his enraged expression, his eyes full of menace and excitement. He chuckles, rumbling,

OOC: Did I accidentally turn Karunax into half-rahi?

OOC: He's always practically half-Rahi. It's just when he gets mad when it comes out.
