Pink! The Knowledge Crystal rebounded and nested itself four inches above the floor. Loralin had been searching though these crystals for anything about time, an apocalypse, or fixing the universe. She had already found something about Great Disks, some Staff of Artakha, and a prophecy about Metru-Nui falling silent (in a spell of webs), but there had to be more.
A cold hand scoops up the crystal...
"Hey. What does this do?"
A Ko-Matoran holds the crystal up to his face and begins shaking it as if it were a snowglobe. "Will this give me wishes? Can I get a new mask...I wan't a new mask."
He notices Loralin and stands still, suddenly becoming silent.
At the matoran's words, the toa rockets into the ceiling like a spooked muaka. After colliding with it, she plummets and splats onto the floor. "Huh?" She rubs her head, either puzzled or in pain. "You-?! I-!? Matora-!? Wha-!?" Loralin barely manages to gain her footing just as she collects her thoughts. "Knowledge Crystal. They store ideas, emotions, and prophecies. Uhm, excuse me. I don't mean to be rude, but how are you-" She stammers. "-is the universe still frozen?" Her photoreceptors dart to the window overlooking the metru.

I thought this place was dead following the great era of strife and unending disagreement that plagued it.
How can I help you?
Thought I'd walk down memory lane. Glad to see you're still around. Wanna bring the universe back to life?

The Ko-Matoran stares blankly at Loralin, still silent.

She approaches to inspect the matoran. "Hello?"
The Ko-Matoran waddles backward before leaning to the side and looking behind Lorain to see the pile of crystals scattered around the room. Slowly lifting his hand, he questioningly points at the mess.

"Oh." It occurs to her that whether or not the world was back to normal, she had to explain the trash heap she had made to this matoran. "Apologies. I'll put it back. I was just looking for prophecies on the End Times."

An additional Toa with a most peculiar mask trudges across the ice. His armored form reflecting off the mirror-like surfaces of the knowledge towers around him. A large weapon and shield slung around his back, he arrives at the scene.
"Query: Who disturbs this place... after so long...?" He asked. His expression seemed to indicate he was bewildered to see another soul in these parts.
The Ko-Matoran blinks once and waddles to a corner. Brushing off a pile of crystals, he plops down on the floor. Sitting still for a solid two minutes, he notices Loralin staring at him and quietly repositions himself. He finally burries his face in a pile of crystals to avoid conversation, but one of the crystals gently rolls toward Loralin and taps her foot. On the side of it marked with red letters is "Diary-Do Not Read".

The toa picks it up, attempting to draw a conclusion. "Were these all yours?"

Turning his head slightly, the Ko-Matoran slowly fixes his eyes on the crystal and realizes what is in her hand. Not wanting to draw further attention, he calmly rises out of the pile and waddles apathetically to Loralin. Looking over the crystal as if he were disinterested, the Ko-Matoran finally waves it aside.
"Just a catalog of meaningless ramblings about destiny and such from some Ko-Matoran. I would doubt you'd find anything useful in your quest within its contents."
He waddles back to his corner and scoops up a knowledge crystal marked "Naming Day". Staring at it with longing, he reviews its contents before placing it back in its place. Ignoring Loralin, he begins to carry more crystals around the room in an effort to clean up.

She takes a moment to soak in all of the info. This was all his stuff. And she had previously been tossing it about, searching for some way to start the universe back up again. Now, here he was, silently judging her. And who could blame him? For all Loralin knew, she had hallucinated the whole thing, and ransacked a matoran's home seeking answers to a problem that never was. And yet, the matoran didn't seem angry... Was that remorse? A painted memory? Maybe she was drawing too many conclusions.
Loralin scoops up a few more crystals and attempts to put them back in their place. However, it's more a secretive attempt to hide that she's looking through the crystal marked, "diary."

The Ko-Matoran steps over a loose crystal rolling about on the floor and reaches for the pile in Loralin's hands. "I'll get that. You go on with whatever."
