charge! *a group of ents and rohirrim enter the region.* *the ents begin tearing down the wall, the rohirrim archers begin firing, and the rest of the troops line up.
ooc: I got 7,500 rohirrim and 100 ents. I'll specify everything when you reply to this post.

*The Ents suffer heavy losses against the wall.*
*the Uruk-hai assist on the wall, dumping burning oil down onto the Ents*
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Qui, I would advise pulling your ents back from the wall before they're all destroyed. Maybe use whatever siege equipment you have (hopefully some trebuchets? ) to heavily damage the wall, and then use your archers to take down the defenders near the damaged portion of the wall while your ents move in to widen the breach in the wall. Then get your troops through.
Nulled. The Ents retreated and onagers and ballistae alone wouldn't be able to do that much damage.
To add to that, ballistae don't really do damage to walls at all. They are primarily an anti-troop weapon, although they do work well against wooden structures.

While this is mostly true, that's not entirely the case. Most ballistae, including scorpions, fire large, powerful bolts. As you said, these are effective against troops, not so much against walls. Larger ballistae, however, often use smaller (I.e. several inches to a foot in diameter) rocks as ammo. Given their high speed, these can eventually do significant damage to walls (tho trebs and the like are still better, ofc).

*I'm using siege ballistae.
Well, if you specify that they're using rocks then they will do damage, but most ballistae default to bolts as far as I know. Regardless, I see you brought something better in
