Moves:
I sent 1, 325 arrows, 13 massive slabs of stone, and 14 flaming ballista bolts at you first.
This would probably do a large amount of damage.
You advanced, firing siege weapons and arrows. The siege weapons wouldn't do that much damage, as my positions high up on the maintain walls would mean there was a high chance of missing. Your arrows would do some damage, but a good number would miss.
My trebuchets started smashing up your infantry formation, and my archers fired again. This would do a reasonable amount of damage to your infantry, as it would not only smash them but break up the tortoise formation and force them to split up to go around the rocks, making them vulnerable to arrows. My arrows would smash a few of your elves, especially the archers, who were in a looser formation, and the infantry around the areas hit by my siege engines.
You lined up your infantry, fired 71 ballistae at my trebuchets, and your archers fired at my orcs again. As for your archers, again, the cliffs would offer decent cover, minimizing damage to the Orcs.
My remaining trebuchets fired at your ballistae, doing heavy damage to the area around them as well as the ballistae themselves, not only damaging them but grounding them and blinding them. My archers fired, doing heavy damage to your elves, especially your archers.
Your remaining ballistae took out more of my trebuchets. Your infantry fell back, and your archers fired. Again, cover would reduce arrow damage.
My trebuchets kept firing.
Your archers kept firing, again doing little damage.
Most of my trebuchets were destroyed. My archers kept firing, doing heavy damage to your archers.
You brought in pavises, reducing damage to your archers.
We exchanged fire, no one doing significant damage.
Now, losses:
I had:
1, 250 Powered Infantry (1.6 each; 2, 000 MWE)
(These stayed working on the wall and never entered the combat zone, so have nothing to do with this)625 Grey Archers (1.6 each; 1, 000 MWE)
I'd say the Grey Archers would take decent losses. I imagine around 425 (680 MWE) would be smashed.
500 Stair Shooters (2 each; 1, 000 MWE)
The Stair Shooters would also take decent losses. Perhaps 250 (500 MWE) would have fallen.
200 Heavy Archers (5 each; 1, 000 MWE)
Now, the Heavy Archers not only have reasonable cover, but also heavy armour, to protect them. This would greatly reduce losses.
250 Climbers (2 each; 500 MWE)
(Went to the Redhorn Pass)
13 Trebuchet and 14 Ballistae (300 SWE)
Now, you said your siege engines targeted my trebuchets, meaning my ballistae would have taken few losses. I'd say 12 trebuchets (180 TWE) and 5 ballistae (35 TWE) would have been defeated.
of the 3, 000 MWE and 300 TWE I entered the battle with, my suggested figures would have me leave it with 1, 820 MWE and 75 TWE.
I'll suggets some figures for you soon, but I need a break now.
I drink tea.
