{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Welcome to the party. The enemy force is a short distance west of the fortress, engaging my army in the north. I have another small force fighting their right wing, while a stealth group is giving his archers a hard time. Move your elves in to attack his left wing, and the army should crumble. Then I can get on with this siege.
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Sounds good, and will do. My only thing is that I wouldn't occupy or destroy the HQ yet, since otherwise he just waits 3 weeks and then he can regen all his troops. Which would not be good for my empty homelands.
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Understood. I'm trying to create solid defensive position at all the surrounding regions so I can fence him in at the HQ after we finally do destroy it.
*The halberdiers are first shot at by the archers of the new force. This is the first sign of an approaching force. As they turn to face the oncoming Arandond, the right wing of the force they were already fighting sweeps forward with renewed vigour, the Maethyr I-Thewair moving into close range where the halberds are of little to no use. As this happens, the elite Arondond crash into the halberds coming to meet them. They lop off the heads of the halberds before finishing off the orcs. The archers shoot down any halberds that try to back up the first wave of halberds.*
*The force on the enemy's right wing charges forward in a loose shield wall, the spearmen wielding pikes now. A volley of arrows is fired at the enemy just before they charge into the enemy lines from the side.*
*The stealth team continues to fire at the phalanx from behind, always trying to remain hidden and adding to the enemy's confusion.*
OOC: Your army is going to have a hard time counterattacking on three sides. More than likely their morale will be lowered by the increasing pressure and they'd being fighting defensively.
*The phlanax continues to attempt to force it's way through*

OOC: Sorry I didn't relise this conserned me.
IC:*My arrchers fire arrows from the trees* *My infintry hold and chop at the phalanx*

*The continued downpour of arrows from all directions causes massive losses. More and more of the orc leaders fall, leading to confusion among the lower ranks and less cohesion as a whole. The Arandond and Maethyr I-Thewair devastate the orcs attacking the right wing, while the force attacking the enemy's right flank aids the left wing. As the enemy falters on both sides, the center is able to push them back.*
*The attack continues at the remaining archers focus on your archers*
*They mostly hit the trees that my arrchers are hiding behind* *My arrchers contune to fire at your orcs*
OOC: Want to just speed up and say that all the orcs are smahsed?
*The Mirkwood elves continue the attack as the had done before, shooting arrows at the enemy from all sides.*
OOC: I agree. Khan Noonian Singh, by this point the majority of your troops have already been smashed. They were being attacked from all sides, in some cases by a hidden enemy, and that would have caused panic, allowing for our elves to finish them off.

OOC: That (sadly) works.
OOC: So all the orcs outside the fort are smashed?
IC: *The army, now victorious, returns to the camp behind the trebuchets. While the injured are tended to and weapons repaired, most of the Warders and Dae-E-Tawar move into positions surrounding the fortress. They then resume the process of shooting any visible enemy before disappearing into the shadows.*
*The trebuchets launch a volley into the fortress, attempting to smash the enemy.*
