The Atlantis theme was an interesting one. It was the first LEGO theme to get a promotional movie with a story to promote it. I honestly think that this theme's initial success has let themes like Ninjago thrive with TV shows. It paved the way for all other animated LEGO Media after it, maybe even the LEGO Movie.
Atlantis never really took off, but will still be special to me.
When did this come out? I don't even remember it. I had the starter set for the yellowish underwater theme, not the recent ones. Aqua Raiders, I had those.
I'm a strictly bricks sorta guy. It still sounds really cool. Was there a tv show or something?
No TV show, but there were tons of books, graphic novels, and comics. I only read a handful of them, but I followed the general story through the internet. I used to have like 5 of the books, but I think my mom gave them away as I can't find them anymore:(!
Ah, I think having comics, books, etc is better than having a TV show. Sometimes tv shows can ruin everything. I hate it when stuff goes missing!

I think it was around in 2009 or so. It lasted a couple years, surprised you didn't hear about it:S.
~l)~/\/~/-\~ The tie between real life and legos is imagination .

That's odd. Maybe it didn't make it to Australia. I've never heard of it. And that would have been close to my LEGO prime.
I have the shark set too, a very cool one! I love how it was made:).
Yeah the Atlantis set were very compact a well built. They were good sets. I still have all the bits and peices from it.
I am pretty sure I still have it built, the only Atlantis set I took apart was the Typhoon Turbo Sub, and that is currently rebuilt into an MOC. It's ONLY using pieces from that set though, so if I ever want it again I can rebuild it:).
