I've done legitimate research, and it's been proven that there is literally no good reason to hate Chima. The only reason people hate it is because other people like it.
Chima has action, adventure, an awesome and complex story, and a fantastic concept. Fabuland is dumb and boring.

What if I watched the series with initial hopes for the theme and decided after watching it that the characters were very poorly done and the villains' motivations were lacking?

Umm, well IDK, because the characters weren't poorly done and the villains motivations weren't lacking.

Umm, well IDK, because the characters weren't poorly done and the villains motivations weren't lacking.
I think the villains were opposing the communist distribution of the blue Chi spheres.
