I've never bought a Mindstorms set, but I was just wondering if there would be a new one anytime soon, we've had the same one for four years! They have the LEGO Boost system coming out later this year, but it's more similar to the LEGO Education WeDo robotics system than Mindstorms as far as I can tell.

Yeah, that's not replacing Mindstorms. You know, you got me thinking about something: I wonder if Boost and EV3 will be compatible with eachother. |

I've never had a Mindstorms set either, but it is about time they release a new one. Whether it be a fourth generation set, or just an update to the EV3 kit.

I'd be surprised if they don't... NXT and EV3 were both huge hits as far as I can tell, and there would be plenty of demand for a new kit with FLL and all.  |
