A topic where one can discuss the original Ninjago Comic Books from back in the day. And now for the comic that inspired this topic...
I vaguely remember picking up a comic that featured a story about the Ninja entering a village and being surprised at how they were stopped by a guard wearing samurai-armor. Elsewhere in the comic, Sensei Wu acted as if he were a dictator rather than the benevolent teacher from the show. I had only read the comic once, and it was before season two aired.
Is there anyone here who remembers reading the original Ninjago comics as well?
I finally searched for the comic and found out it was Mask of the Sensei. An interesting read to be sure.

Ninjago has quickly spiraled into a canon held together by the loosest of threads... (I'm aware the comics are not canon, but among other things I do miss the days when elemental powers were not hereditary, but based on the weapon one wielded.)

EDIT: One of the ones I remember is "Night of the Nindroids". Man, the cover of that one was REALLY burned into my mind for some reason.
