Welcome to the Ruins of the Pine Forest! This place was once home to the mighty Stag Kingdom, before it was destroyed by the combined might of the Lions, Dragons, and Shadows. Situated in the marshy pine forest, they are close to the Forest and the Endless Sea. It is a place of mists and mysteries, of ghosts and memories. Come here for adventure or to learn Old Magic
Shortly before the Xain Invasion, a lord of a line descended from the House of Bears took control of the Ruins and built up an army, including soldiers from the Xain Empire. He sought to conquer the southern kingdoms but was defeated by their combined efforts. Following these events, the Dragon Kingdom took possession of the Ruins, violating the ancient treaty and invoking the anger of the Kaspik Wardens. However, the Ruins have seen little use in the year since the Xain Invasion. Now, the only people who reside here are Gidie, the partially paralyzed wizard and teacher of Old Magic, and the people needed to keep the Ruins in decent shape.
