I don't know about the rest of the world, but in New Zealand, LEGO Dimensions are having some really great sales at the local shops at the moment. Eris is currently $9 NZD, (about $6.27 USD) and Gimli, Legolas, and Benny are $15 ($10.45 USD). Great for me, because I'm just after the minifigures. Some of those were running around for $1-$5 USD here. I'm glad it was good for you though! I here NZ can have really high LEGO prices. Is that correct? Wow, okay!! Now those are very crazy deals, the shops must have been trying hard to sell them off! I guess NZ might have higher prices compared to the rest of the world, but I'm not sure. A regular green or sand-coloured baseplate is $13 NZD, which is just over $9 USD. How much do regular baseplates cost where you live? When I think about it though, I always wait for sets to go on sale before I buy them.

I was seriously hoping for a Tauriel, Thorin, or Thranduil... :/ Ah, the struggle of living in Middle Earth but having missed all the LEGO Lotr and Hobbit sets!! That would have been cool...
Can I move to middle earth? I'll bring my one and only Hobbit set Sure! Middle Earth is a nice place to live, if you don't mind gorgeous landscapes, tasty food, and many crazy Hobbitses as your fellow citizens...

I knew a lot of LEGO fans from NZ and they were usually talking about high prices. Them and Australia. That's why I was wondering. Baseplates go for $8 USD so the difference isn't that bad.
I always wait for sets to go on sale even here in the USA.

Also lego buys plastics for 1$/kg and sell for 75$/kg its a good business models.

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the 360 and One versions of Dimensions? Seriously, the One version is $20 more expensive than the 360 version. Wy is this? If these things are going on sale, I might just buy a couple and see what it's like. I'm not paying full price for them though.

The main difference is that the 360 version is in 30FPS at 720p while the Xbox One version should be in 60FPS at 1080p. You should see a smoother gameplay experience on the Xbox One. Anyway, now that Lego Dimensions has ended the packs will probably be very expensive, like skylanders. I think they will go up in price but I am not sure.

Besides, the prices haven't changed in Australia. ...Just gonna hold out a little longer. Thanks for the reply.
