Funny thing is, I tried this theme out for about five minutes, was bombarded with memories straight from 2016, annnd...haven't really used it since. until right now because it looks better not on mobile anyway It just incites this suspicious feeling like the boards are shutting down any day now. XD that wasn't your plan, right? right? right? o.o
Anyway, all that aside, the theme looks AMAZING! Excellent job, guys.

I'm happy to announce that the new LMB Beta Theme is now live!!
Many thanks to our designers and staff members who have all helped create this incredible theme, many may not be here but their effort is nevertheless remembered. Full credits will be listed below.
To see the theme you must enter your settings and enable the 'LMB Beta Theme'. It is important to note that the theme is not yet complete. There are still bugs that need to fixed and features that need to be added, so we would like to draw your attention to the Report Bugs topic to take a quick read of the information and instructions found there.
This topic is specifically for questions/celebration related to the theme, and the Bug Reports topic is for bug reports only.
There are still a few things that need to be done including:
Completion of Badges
Completing Help Page
Checkboxes for threads
Pagination On The Bottom Of Pages which require them
Plus whatever bugs you guys find

Once these features have been added, and the bugs fixed, we will then make this the default theme, so that anyone not logged in will see it as well. We hope this process will be between 3-4 weeks, but this isn't a guarantee if there are more bugs found than expected. When the theme is released, all support of the existing themes will most likely be discontinued, and special/seasonal themes will be made on the LMB Theme.
If you've only read the first sentence, couldn't hold your excitement, and have already enabled the theme before continuing, you may have noticed a couple of different things that look slightly more permanent. There are a few more buttons here and there and one or two extra goodies to enjoy. As further development of the theme continues you may experience more of these things as we wish to base the theme on the community's past experience with the LEGO Message Boards to give us an overall better experience with the site. Some of these things include extra nav buttons, better user settings, and more.
It is here that we're going to list a couple of the more major features that are unique to this theme and why you should switch.
So here we go:

One thing to note, when liking a user's post, the like count will not change until you have refreshed the page. This is an issue we hope to resolve before we release the theme fully.

lol, as of now there is no plan to shut down these boards. would be a pretty bad idea to work so hard on a theme and then shut it down Thanks for you support! We're working hard.
How do you view your notifications on the new theme? I can't find them.
Go to Profile > (scroll down to Other Profile Links) > Press Notifications.
Also, when you get a notification there will be a bubble over the profile navigation button with the number of notifications you have in it. If you press the bubble it will lead you to your notifications page.
The only thing that bugs me about the LMB theme is not being able to see your own posts before they're approved. I've gotten used to checking them after I post them so I can see what it looks like and know if I want to make any edits. But of course, for nostalgic reasons, this new theme takes the cake.
