Who's ready for the return of Clutch Powers to Ninjago?
In case you haven't heard yet, a minifig accessory pack including an older version of Clutch has been leaked! Clutch is already canon to the show, after he was name-dropped in Episode 9 as an adventurer who found one of the fangblades, but he has never actually appeared in the show or had a physical minifig before.
The running theory is that he'll return to fight one of the Oni who is named Omega... because in the Clutch Powers movie, a shadowy, mysterious villain named Omega killed Clutch's dad, Rock Powers so they might retcon that storyline and make Omega the Oni instead of the Space Police baddie he was originally. Also, in Rock Powers's diary, there is an entry on a fire sword which they might retcon to be Kai's sword.
Also, we should have seen this coming because there was a Tweet from Tommy Andreasen in which someone asked him when we were gonna get a sequel to Clutch Powers and he replied simply "2019"
I'm hyped up for his return!!! Haven't seen him show up since 2010!
Bonus trivia fact: His name, Clutch Powers, is a play on what LEGO calls their bricks special ability to stick to each other, or their “clutch power”

The last time I watched Clutch Powers was probably 8 years go, which was before I was in high school.
Other than that, it's pretty cool how they could be bringing back Clutch Powers, and it looks like the lore for it seems pretty connected. I look forward to more.

Yep. I'll have to watch it again. Now just to find a source where I can watch it.
So Clutch doesn't even need his eyepatch lol reminds me of the LEGO Atlantis movie in which one of the characters with an eyepatch has it fall off and everyone is shocked and he says "I never said I needed one, I just think eyepatches are cool"

I haven't watched Ninjago or been on the LMBs in years but feeling was feeling very nostalgic (and very much procrastinating) today so dropped by. This is so cool! I was a huge fan of Clutch Powers when I was a kid and was always sad that there wasn't any official minifigs of any of the characters. Definitely will have to buy this one
