The waters of the Western Seas are stirred, as a curious phenomenon develops at its southern shores. After an increase in volcanic activity, four islands rise inside a bay, hidden by heavy fog and large amounts of vapour which quickly dissipate. As if this miracle wasn't enough, a piece of the largest island is flung into the air, where it hangs as if suspended by an invisible chain. On the shores and slopes of these previously submerged islands are deserted yet intact houses, forges, canals and palaces, built in a style that would remind an observer from our world of Greco-Roman constructions. Next to them are lush pastures, beautiful gardens and large orchards protected from centuries of submersion by some unknown force.
This force, whose mighty warriors and skillful craftsmen have lain in deep slumber for years within the submerged city, has kept a quiet watch over the lands of Chima, waiting to spread its wings and parry the fell strokes of any grave threats to the land. Now that the Hunters have risen from their glacial tombs to wage war upon the nations, the Phoenix sentinels stand ready to intervene.
Phoenix City Plan
The four islands are covered in thick woods, at the centers of which lie small towns, organised in a web like shape, whose extensions protrude onto the rocky shores and into bridges that connect the isles. Terraced fields lie along the bay and the islands, to provide food, and, in a raised platform at the center of the small archipelago lies an artificial platform with a mechanical elevator, leading to the floating land. Upon the floating isles are the Phoenix temple and pantheon, were the council of elders and the emperor meet, and surrounding them are massive forges, parks, museums and hospitals.

Phoenix Organisation
Although the Phoenix government is small and it's actions discrete, its higher structure is well known and easily understandable. It relies on a council of elders, whose twelve members are selected through rituals and public vote. This council then elects one of its members to be the leader of the Phoenix nation.
- Emperor (FelipeDutra) The leader of the Phoenix in most matters, the Emperor is chosen by the twenty senators. His action is limited, but in dire times he can receive emergency powers.
- Senators (4 spots open) Elected by the people, Senators form a council of 20 known as the Senate. Generally, they are men with great experience in administration and warfare, or just bearers of great wisdom. They government the different districts of the Phoenix lands.
- Legates (3 spots open) Legates command portions of the Phoenix army, and are sometimes seen pursuing careers in the senate. They are the highest military rank attainable, but possess no power other than military if they choose to neglect a career as a senator.
- Centurion (5 spots) Under the command of Legates, centurions comma d section s of the Legates' armies. They only possess military powers.
- Decurions (infinite) Under centurions, decurions are sub-unit commanders, and often see great action in the field.
- Legionnaires (infinite) The vast majority of the Phoenix army, legionnaires are highly skilled warriors, but bear practically no power other than that of their body and weapons. Through good servixs, they can be promoted if they so wish, and are oftentimes seen pursuing other interesting careers after their service.
Although the military and council may seem like the most apparent parts of Phoenix society, there are many other cogs that contribute to it, and that are often forgotten. (You can be other civilian stuff too).

Pheta will be a centurion, seeing she'll be useless in the senate.
