{Venomir only}Yeah... that's the thing, our motives don't match. Clayface and Frank are bitter and don't like certain heroes, Psycho Pirate is mentally ill, Pyro is power-hungry, the Talon does what the Court of Owls wants and I think that Vacuum Thief just wants Hostess Cupcakes. Also, in the comics, Darkseid is ultimately after the Anti-life equation.

If yes: IC: Pyro gets whacked by a Batarang, the Talon catches the one aimed at him, Clayface intercepts the ones aimed at him and Psycho Pirate with his clay.
If no: IC: Knowing that the Gotham Bat is fighting with them and not against them, my characters (except for Phantom Lantern, who wasn't there when this post was made) fight with renewed vigor. The Talon works his way towards him. "The Court knows of your... heroics, and is impressed. Join us in our noble crusade to purge Gotham of weakness!"
Not really sure what the IC reason should be, but I guess it doesn't matter.
