The 2018 sets? Some of the sets are pretty standard sizes for Lego planes, but I agree how they are getting smaller. I own the Lego Police Plane set (7223). It is 10 years old now and pretty cool. Most of my sets are from before 2013 though...

My favourite City set? Hm, I might have to go with either the 7894 Airport from 2006, the 7898 Cargo Train Deluxe from 2006, or the 7942 Off Road Fire Rescue from 2007.
I just remember having the most fun with those three sets, and having a fun time building with them.
